And made bread. One white bread in my Pullman pan the other....
I made into cinnamon bread. Next time more filling. I did add cardamom this time and I will add more of that next time.
I also made a vegetable soup from some fresh veggies I needed to use up. Not husband's favorite but I loved it. I froze a couple of quarts for later.
We are waiting for our second snow storm this weekend. I always start the day with room temp water with elderberry tincture to hopefully boost my immune system. There is a lot going around out there.

The patriots are playing my nerves are shot lol.
Have a wonderful healthy week ❤️

Mmmmm.I can almost smell all that gorgeous baking ! 💚💐🕊️
I could go for any of that food. I swear by elderberry! Great antiviral. Sambucus. There's an expensive otc that's the same as the plain old elderberry but with its Latin name. You pay for the spelling.
I have a battle scared cookbook too, lol. I love all soups, especially on a rainy or snowy day.
You were busy but it all looks so good.
We are kindred spirits for sure! I made bread and veggie soup too! I actually canned the leftovers. I did the same with homemade chicken noodle soup. I didn't do cinnamon bread though. It's supposed to get super cold here and some snow. Is it even close to spring yet? Nope. Stay healthy!
Nothing like home made bread and some good soup! The old recipes are the best. Just trying to get back into blogging. Have a great week!
Yum! I want some cinnamon bread now. Great idea to put cardamon in it.
I have a 45 year old Betty Crocker cookbook - good stuff.
Didn't the Patriots win? You should be happy! Love the smell of freshly baked bread, nothing better. I have my Fannie Farmer Cookbook, I love it, had it since 1985. Stay warm.
I have that same cookbook-mine is very old too-breads sounds delicious Happy new week
