Merry Christmas Cathy! I hope the Spirit of the season finds you soon and I know you'll enjoy your day with your family. I read your previous posts and congrats on the fudge! Looks amazing! If I get time I'm going to try that recipe. Your decor is so cute and I'm so happy it's the first day of winter because I know it will get lighter every day. Slowly, but surely! I'm not a hater of winter but I sure look forward to the green grass and flowers of spring! It will feel spring like here this week. Afte all the cold and snow the past few weeks, Christmas will be warmish and green. Go figure! Have a healthy, warm and fun Christmas!

With winter solstice I think of my mother since her birthday is the 23rd of December. And, whenever I find a penny I always thank mother for dropping it for me to find. We always laughed at finding pennies because we both said it made no difference if it was heads or tails up, it was a penny found. Sorry for rambling, but my mother is on my mind, lol.
