For the first time in my life I was successful at making peanutbutter fudge. Usually I have to eat the fudge I make with a spoon.
As most of you know I lost my sister in law this fall. This was her mother's recipe and she made it every Christmas. So I decided to give it a try. Success!
This is a santa I made quite a few years ago. I just put some mini snowshoes in his pack this year.
And a few of my vintage santas.
And last but not least I made some gingerbread men. I made them from the molasses cookies recipe I found this year.

For some reason your comments are not going to my email. I will work on fixing that. I am sorry for not getting back to you, I did read every comment and thank you as always for your visit and comments.
Have a wonderful week.

We awoke to unexpected snow this morning. The drive to Hanover for church was a bit dicey. Roads weren't treated. Your Santas are cute. I've never made a one.
Always love fudge. Which reminds me that I should whip up a batch of my gramma's. Love all of your Santa's. So festive! Janice
So glad your fudge turned out good. I want to make gingerbread cut outs too, one of my favorites . Loved seeing your Santas Happy new week
I love the vintage Santas and the gingerbread men.
We've had a lull in the snow (but there's more than plenty on the ground) and are stuck in the bitter cold (-34ยบ windchill anyone??). I think it's to get warmer this week (fingers crossed), but will still be very winter. Love your vintage Santas!! You have some awesome ones. I started to take a photo of mine today and realized that 2 were MIA...so the hunt begins. They are probably off cavorting with my rogue gone-gone cast deer. Glad your fudge turned out. While I love peanut butter, pb fudge isn't a favorite of mine for some reason.
The fudge looks delicious. Looks like you are all ready for Christmas. No snow here - except in the mountains. We need more here in the valleys. Have a good week. See you again soon!
We had snow and more snow, plus it was 3 degrees when we got up this morning. But it was pretty and I appreciate the quote you posted on that.
Glad the fudge worked, especially with the family connection.
Your Santa's are cute. Bet those gingerbread men are tasty. That's something I haven't ever made.
we got 8" of snow overnight, it was still snowing this morning!! it was beautiful and i took a lot of pictures!! i especially enjoyed your vintage santas but that fudge, YuM!!
the list i feathered on my blog i did make myself BUT it was not really my idea. if you search pinterest "Winter bucket list" you will find a lot of ideas. you will find blank ones and those that have ideas filled into them. i make one every season!! i hope that helps!!
Fudge look really good but my sugar went up just reading the ingredients, lol. Good luck getting the emails back, for months (years?) they haven't come into my email box despite my trying.
We are in the depth of winter early this year. And the season hasn’t even started yet. Have a great week in spite of the snow.
The fudge looks heavenly! So does your home, filled with wonderful bits of Christmas. Could you post your cranberry bread recipes too please? Love the idea of not sugary!
Oh, I bet your house smells fabulous! I love peanut butter fudge and have a good recipe, somewhat different from yours. I may have to give it a try!
I haven't had a working email in like a year. I check my comments right on the blog when I'm ready to read blogs. It's quite nice. No emails or reminders. Just sorta peaceful to come on and read when I'm ready with a cuppa and block of time. That said, I get folks like it going to email.
I love winter. I love that it's dark at 2:30 in the afternoon! I really do.
Your fudge sounds perfect for my hubby. He loves peanut butter fudge the most.
Your fudge looks tasty! I made PB fudge for the first time ever this year. My recipe called for just 3 ingredients. Equal parts PB and butter then enough icing sugar to thicken. It was a big hit and I have to make more before Christmas.
doubling back...i really like the first image with the meme. also, i featured on my blog...not feathered!!
