Science Or....

I have a coffee and some keto cookies. I took a couple of Motrin as I spent hours cleaning out gardens, planting 3 long rows of garlic, and cutting back rose bushes. To say I am tired, and sore is an understatement. But our Patriots play very soon so we are all tucked in.

It is a perfect fall day. The colors are starting to pop, it was in the 60s clear and just perfect!

October 1st and it was cool enough to have a fire. We still have not turned on the furnace.

This picture was taken by a weatherperson working on the top of our highest peak Mt Washington. There was no one else on the top when this picture was taken what do you think???

It was explained away by the science community. The short version is it is a reflection in the fog and clouds of the person taking the picture. I just know when this was posted to their fb page people did not believe that explanation at all.
Thoughts?

That is sure an interesting picture taken at the top of the mountain. I love your fireplace. Wish we had one here. We have two at our home that we will be moving back into, so I am looking forward to that. I love the picture of the fall leaves in your area. I hope that the coming week is a good one for you. See you again soon!

That is quite a spectacle but I think it can be explained by science. It does look like the Virgin Mary but if it was her, she could be seen in any light or darkness.

Like you, I find it more and more difficult to work in the garden. It's been cold in the morning and my hands just become useless. I have to wait until it warms up to get work done outside.

I hope that you can sit by that big fireplace to warm up while you watch your team play.

Three long rows of garlic will provide you with a huge amount of garlic for next year.
Take care and get some rest.
Hugs,
Julia

Cool here too and damp since it has been raining since Friday. I'm wearing sweats and haven't turned on the heat either. I dare to speculate on the image but do believe in Big Foot; not saying that is what the image is tho.

Well that looks like a person to me on that mountain. Tis the season they say. Hope your Patriots won as our Lions did not....one of these days I hope they get into the playoffs. Janice

Well, I am a creature of science given my anthropology/archaeology background...but, I'm not sure I am buying the "scientific" explanation. Science does not preclude miracles. Never has and never will. I have always wanted to plant garlic but not 3 rows full LOL. Got werewolves and vampires? LOL Since I don't have a garden proper, I am afraid what I plant would be swallowed up by the lawn...same with asparagus. ~Robin~ (PS...Not to rub it in or anything, maybe your Patriots will have better luck next week? 😉) ~Robin~

I've seen that effect in person. It is very cool and totally science based.

I've seen that so-called miracle myself in person. It is cool, but totally based in science.
I wonder if I can find garlic locally to plant. It seems a bit late to order it now. Same with the daffodils I keep thinking I should order every year and don't.

Your fireplace looks so cozy. We've been hunkering down with ours, too! I hope your arms and legs aren't aching too much from all that garden work. When I get home from the lake I'll have to tackle the rest of mine and I don't look forward to it!

I can see you live in a beautiful area! What kind of tree is that in your header? A lilac tree - it is gorgeous. It is starting to get cool here in GA too! Sandie

Love your fireplace and cozy time after all that work! We took down our gardens and finished with the green peppers that made a delish Sunday dinner. Our trees are changing slowly. We'll have a few warm days this week but cool comes back this weekend in time for my family from Chicago to enjoy some Fall fun things! I've never planted garlic and didn't know you plant it in the Fall. I'll have to google that! Have a good week! Oh, my take on the figure on the mountain? I think it's God checking on his beautiful creations..that's how I roll anyway!

How wonderful to have it be cool enough to have a fire in the fireplace on October 1st! My Dad would light a fire and turn on the air conditioning when I was a kid. Its too warm here for that but yours looks so nice. I am thinking a bigfoot. Something that lives there and is at home in the woods on Mt. Washington.

I am skeptical about science...our Dear Dr. Fraudci based all the Covid BS on "science" and how often did that change?
Love your fireplace!
So what do you do with all that garlic?
