Censored!

I had a post deleted and then reinstated.
It was a post about big rugs! They sent one email, said they had deleted the post because it did not fit their standards...
Then I get another one the next day reinstating it. They reconsidered.  Good thing I didn't read my email for a couple of days because I would have been more than mad! It is a crazy world!
Now I wonder if someone complained or they were looking around and saw the title?

On to other things.... I am getting the yard all planted and pretty for the summer. This is on a stump of a group of large trees we had taken down a few years ago.

My sweet woodwdruff is finally looking good it took a few years to take. I am battling the bugs trying to get things in the ground but it will be worth it after.

Today I met up with a couple of  sweet friends, then and we headed for Camp wool in Kennebunk Maine. She is getting ready to close and move further up the coast. I treated myself to some wool as you can see. I have two larger rugs ahead of me. I have not been hooking much with the gardening I am beat at the end of the day.

I will leave you with this from Erma Boombeck.
There is a lot of truth in this.
Have a wonderful week!

I love that column by Erma Bombeck. She was so wise! I had trouble with blogger last week too. When I tried to go to my sight, a red screen came up with the message that I was trying to go to a dangerous sight that was "phishing" for personal information. What??? Another blogger I flower, also had blogger delete and then reinstate her post. Crazy things going on with blogger last Friday. I hope your week is going well.

That's a bit much... I had a rug frame returned to the sender because of the wording on the package. Something about "Hooking Frame" Some overzealous mail personal had it returned all the way to Texas. My address was correct, the frame was paid for so the only explanation was someone has jumped to the wrong conclusion.

I've been planting but my lawn has been neglected. A lovely reflection on how we must live life in thankfulness of the precious gift it is.
Have a great week.
Hugs, Julia

Really? Blogger censured you???? Dang, wish I'd seen it....or did I? Since I have a good healthy sense of humor there's nothing you or anyone could say that would offend me. Matter of fact I'd probably play into the fun. What ever happened to the 1st Amendment?

I suspect that post was deleted by an automated process, and it took a couple of days for the verification of whether it was really a candidate for deletion to catch up.
Until this week (rain all week?) my needlework and sewing have been derailed by yard work too. I like that you used the stump as a pedestal for flowers. I remember reading Erma Bombeck in Good Housekeeping Mom subscribed to when I was young - what a talent and so much of her writing still stands good today. I wonder what she'd have written about the pandemic, lockdowns, vaccines, etc.

That post being censored was just too funny.
Great new wools. I knew you had one big rug planned but not two.
I always loved that essay by Erma. It has been years since I've seen it, but the words ring true today and everyday.

That was interesting to read, Cathy, that a. Log post was deleted and then reinstated. Quite honestly, it was the first time I’ve ever read someone saying it happened on their blog. Makes me wonder about Big Brother watchung our humble blog posts…nothing better to do?

If it were not sad, it would be funny. Times they are a changin' though, aren't they? Just a few months back, I had a post titled "I Like To Do What Other Hookers Don't"....I'm sure that would pass todays so-called standards. Your sweet woodruff is beautiful....I should think about planting some...pretty sure it grows here, but will have to double check. Glad you got some planting in....I haven't even thought about it when usually I cannot wait. I may just skip this year. Hope your week is off to a good start. ~Robin~

An acquaintance gave me sweet woodruff and I planted it at my former house. It’s aptly named- sweet!! Camp Wool was a fav when we visited southern Maine. I see the building they’re moving to and it’s huge!! Can’t wait until the border to US opens...

Great wool haul!! See that you are like me...out in the yard. I do love it, but miss my stitching/hooking time. I won’t even say what I think about censoring social media. It probably would be censored 😡
