A Rare Midweek Post

My partner in crime and her husband celebrated 50 years!
Their daughter and son gave them a lovely party such a fun couple.
and did I mention that she is my husband's cousin.
We love you Donna and Mike!
Today was a rare warm and rain free day in October so my friend Cathy and I took a little walk around town. This was in front of a wine store on Main St.. Halloween is suppose to be wind driven rain boo mother nature what a way to spoil the kids fun!
This is a fuzzy picture of my UFO I have pulled out more than I have put in but I will keep at it for a while longer.
A few weeks back a friend and I went to a rug show by Kathi Hooper here are a few more of her wonderful pieces.

Her colors are much more vibrant than what shows here.

And this is the name of our state's largest lake and it is in our area.

I am sleeping better but I have found calming music on youtube that helps better than having the tv going.

I am still not through all the pumpkin spice creamer yet and yes I have a bottle at work for my coffee there too. I guess I could be addicted to worse things. Have a Happy Halloween!!!

50 years is a long time to be together and it's good to celebrate that milestone. They look so happy together.
I'm looking forward to seeing your UFO rug finished. I still haven't gone back to rug hooking yet. I'm still crocheting those baby blankets. It's addictive, just like rug hooking was.
Too bad for the kiddies, we will also be having rain for Halloween.
Hugs, Julia

Hi Cathy,
Congrats to the lovely couple! What a milestone, especially today!! Glad you had a good day to walk around town, too!! Your rug is looking good and just keep pulling those loops and before you know it, it will be done!! Love those other rugs as well!! We all have those "guilty pleasures" so just enjoy it!!
Hope it doesn't rain tomorrow but even if it does, kids always seem to have fun!!
Take care and have a great week!
Heart Hugs~

Congrats to Donna and hubby ❤️
Trick-or-treat is not looking promising in Ohio, either. I hope the kids still come because I sure don’t want all that candy in my house.

Years ago I waded in the waters of Lake Winnipausaukee as saw the prawns swimming around like crazy, even near the shore of the lake house. I'd say your friends know each other pretty well after 50 years, congratulations to them.

You're almost to the finish line with the hardest parts already done. You'll be done in a flash.

Congrats to the happy couple. So glad to see folks married for a long time. It rained tonight for trick or treating and then turned to snow, UGH. Janice

Congrats to your friends/family! It's getting rarer to have someone stay married for that long! (at least to the same person!) Our Halloween was very windy, cold and rainy but the rain stopped right before trick or treat. I was stuck at work and missed it but we did have a lovely October until this past week! Cleveland had snow and so did my family in Chicago. I'm glad that's held off for now in our neck of the woods! Have a good week!
