Before And After

I rescued this from a thrift store. It is a little hand hooked ornament
I just couldn't let it stay lonely in the box of glittery things.

I have been hooking, I started out with this....
And ended with this. The worst photo in the world but I changed to a plaid and did his beard in roving much better. Now to bind!

It snowed pretty hard today but didn't last long. It left high winds and cold. So I spent the day...

Decorating

bubble lights and all. I am hosting my women's group this Wed. not
sure what I was thinking as my house is not in the best condition for company, stuff everywhere, but like me as I am I guess.

Husband is much better thank you for all the thoughts and prayers I know they helped.
I worked 11plus hours Friday so we kept the weekend very low key. I did buy some things online but really not much at this point.
We try to keep Christmas spending in control
Have a wonderful week!

I am so glad your husband is so much better. Your tree is so pretty. It was so warm here today, I just couldn't even pretend it was Christmas. Hopefully that is going to change tonight. Your rug is lovely. I hope you have a wonderful week and you don't have to work late. I hope your group is nice on Wednesday. I am sure everyone will feel at home.

Great find! Nice hooking and beautiful tree. Love the colors!!! Was decorating today after some Christmas shopping...but the temps here in Michigan were quite mild today. Wish it would snow as it would put me in the mood more. Did decorate with christmas carols playing though. Hope you have a great week! Janice

Fun find and your rug came out beautifully. Love the bubble lights, I do basic but I like the look of those.
We are being practical this year, kids are young, so of course some small fun gifts, but today we found the perfect boots for nick and an outfit for alex, they both need clothes.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at your house. Hey, Cathy, what's not to like about you. Your women's group are going to share precious time with you not critiquing your house. So glad your husband is doing better. Sounds like it will be a great Christmas for you and family.

Glad your hubby is better and I'm betting your friends are looking forward to spending time with you and not the house! Enjoy the special moments of the season! Love all your decorations!
