A Hook In My Hand

I didn't get the best picture but we had a huge storm last Tue .
We ended up with 19inches and lots of wind. Some areas looked like a bomb was dropped trees and light poles down everywhere.
We were lucky we made it through and only lost one tree that didn't hit much but another tree. And we didn't lose power at all.

Oh yea the dump I haven't been in awhile.
This is a glass candle holder that has tree bark attached to the outside. I love it and hope to use is this summer on our porch.

And who could pass up the monkeys. So funny!

We have been watching Foyle's War it is sent in England during the start
of  WWII. He is a detective it is very good and has several seasons or as they call it sets. I am getting them from my local library.

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who had some encouraging words on my last post. I really was feeling so down about my creative skills. But as you can see I wandered back to it.
I am very blessed with a husband who encourages me.

I am looking forward to spring, I hope it springs this week.

Love the road sign. I thought that was just your name for the dump.
Hooray for the hook!!!
Happy day before spring :)

Wow, you got all the snow. By the time the storm arrived here we only got a couple of inches. Glad you are hooking again. Very pretty blues. I have 2 quilts in progress

Youzers..19 inches. So glad nothing major happened. We had that horrible wind storm and some folks did not get power back for a week....and it was cold up here. Janice

Hi Cathy, I'm glad you got through the big storm without loosing power. We had one as well and the snow was so heavy to plow or shovel.
I'm also glad to see that you've picked up your hook again. Cabin fever hits us all. I've been in a slum myself since the time change and could barely drag myself around. I was so tired and out of sort but I'm OK now. The older I get, the harder time change is on me. I felt jet lagged.

Take care and enjoy your movies. it sounds like a good series.
Hugs,
Julia

The good thing is we didn't get it, bad, you got it instead;)
This last one passed us by too, just a few flurries today.
You find so many fun things, I like those little glass holders, I did one with rope and glued on shells for my beach room.

Glad you made it through that storm with no damage and all your power still on! It just grazed us and was melted the next day. However, Friday was a surprise with 3 or more inches of snow and ice and rain..miserable day! Happy Spring tomorrow. Whether or not Mother Nature wants to join the party and make it warm and spring like...it's still Spring on the calendar!

Hello!
I also love Foyle's War!
My hubby and I just got the show "The Last Detective" from the library and we really like it.
I hope to do a post about it, if I can just get my thoughts together.
