We headed to the beach for Christmas prelude
in Kennebunk Maine
We got up early and hit all the sales and ate our way though
each store.
Left to right My sweet friend Cathy, My daughter Ashley, and a horrid picture of myself. we are all sporting sparkly reindeer antlers.
I took a couple of extra days off to fit all the fun in
and to have a day of rest after. I finished the mantle it's a wooly one.
Between two friends I have lots of berries
and holly.
To make the house very festive.
This is the only tree I have up so not sure when I am going to get the time to put the big one up, every weekend is spoken for from now until Christmas.
I have been pretty sick and the meds I had to take kicked my butt but I am on the mend now just tired and of course running around all the time doesn't help.

I hope you are all well and enjoying the season.

Your mantle is fun and I love the arrangement in your white ironstone pitcher.
Sorry to hear you've been sick but happy to hear you are on the mend.
Hugs :)

Sounds like a fun mini vacation. I would love to head north over the holidays but it might be too cold and if I could fly, I would head south till I hit warm sun, lol. Your mantle looks wonderful and I love boughs and berries, it warms up the home. I need to get out and cut some berries off the fence.

Your mantel looks very nice and the winter berries adds a warm holiday touch to your decor.
Getting away with the girls was a great idea.
Have a great day.
Hugs,

Evening Cathy, what a fun time, love the way you decorated the mantle, very nice and love those berries. Blessings Francine.
Very festive mantle decorations and the tree is right down my alley. I made a small feather tree a few years ago and that is the extent of my tree for the house. Hope you are back at 100% soon so you can enjoy Christmas.
Hi Cathy,
Looks like you had a lovely time with special friends!! Your mantel is so pretty and the white ironstone pitcher with the greens and berries is stunning!! I love the little feather tree with the Santa head too!! Sorry you have been sick, but hoping you are on the mend and can get the rest of your decorating done!!! I haven't even started with the move, but it ALL comes out this weekend!! Fa la la la la, la la la la!!!
Have a great week!
Warm Hugs~

Great time and beautiful decorations! I have friends that like to come and cut fresh pine from our trees..you can too anytime... and I take advantage of that too. I have 2 holly bushes and have snipped a few branches also! I do hope you're feeling better and hopefully won't miss any of the Christmas fun you have planned! Take care!
