Quiet

Nothing could be truer than in the summer with the birds singing and a breeze blowing.

Are you sick of my gardens yet. I was so starved for them from the long winter.

These are the wild blackberry bushes, They are so happy
I guess there will be blackberry jam for the winter this year.

I have a lot of hosta easy to care for.

We have lined our walkway with these sharpening stones.
I love the rustic look of it.

I was cleaning out a garden and found a patch of these wild strawberries and I had to stop. I want the birds and chipmunks to get them. (I do have gloves on for some reason it looks like really white skin)

and my Stella Doros are blooming.

And this is the hill at the dump! cool right!
****
I have been working on the house, and gardens so no hooking no reading. I fall into bed at the end of the day very tired. Which is good as I usually have a hard time sleeping.
I hope your summer is going well we are getting together with friends for the 4th I am so looking forward to it, a lot of R&R.

Lovely! I always got excited when I'd find those little wild strawberries at the cottage. Haven't found any in years. Sounds like you are having good weather. It's really cold here

Beautiful pictures of your yard. I never tire of them.
Love those sharpening stones. I have seen them stacked in a garden and just loved them but just a little too pricey around here if you can find them.
Hugs :)

Cathy, I can never get tired of looking at your garden photos. I love Hostas and have a lot too as I keep having to divide them like the rest of my perennials.

I had a big grinding stone when I live on the farm and after we left, it was removed and I don't know where it went. We had it on a tree stump if I recall. I'll have to dig up the old slides photos.

I hope that you're having some nice weather.
Hugs,
JB

I never tire of seeing beauty and gardens....we too had that long, cold Winter and I'm enjoying my flowers too. I'm spending more time outdoors between the raindrops. My Mom and sis are coming this week so I'm hoping for some nice dry days. Enjoy your quiet!
