My little fishy got to go swimming.
In the same place that her mother spent a lot of
her summers when she was little. Squam lake beach in our little town.
Not a bad place to spend the day.
My daughter and I did get out to the church sale nice and early and found some goodies the pink under the scarf and cd is a pair of LL bean pants
in a size smaller! My weight is coming off but, very very slowly. Lets hope that means it stays off.
We spent today decorating the house for the 4th of July.
The porch was the first to get it.
I put out my flag pillows
Ran a new flag up the flag pole and now we are
looking forward to the Holiday. We have some time off coming and
we are looking forward to some great fun with great friends.
The lavender is in bloom and all is right with the world
Have a great week!

How is the water up there? I am surprised at how cold the water is, this year. I got a couple of lavender plants to try this year, for now they are in a planter, but thinking I should plant them in the garden?

Your bunting is very different. I love it.
It's so nice that Miss B loves the water. Fun times.
I think I lost all but one lavender plant due to the harsh winter :(
Congrats on the continued weight loss.
Hugs :)

I put out a sign made from tin of the American flag--that's about all I do for decorating. I love Lavendar--I usually manage to "steal" some from my neighbor's yard to tie in a bouquet and save all year.
A perfect Summer post...water sprite...flags...and Carole King! I remember blasting that "album" at the beach! Enjoy the week!

Oh I adore your wonderful porch, that screen door is beautiful. Love all your Red, White and Blue, Blessings Francine.
Great picture of Miss B. in the water.
It's Canada Day tomorrow for us but I work all day so the house doesn't get decorated. I'll be hearing and seeing lots of fireworks in the evening.
Regretfully, I lost my lavender several years ago and didn't replant.
Take care and have a wonderful 4th of July
Hugs,
JB
I used to have lavender plants but sadly they got very woody and I lost them. Is that a piece of paisley I see in that one picture?
Since I live in the woods there wouldn't be anyone seeing my July 4th decorations but perhaps I'll put something out on my harvest table for me to enjoy. Hmm, guess I'd better start with the vacuum first.

Your home looks lovely decorated for the 4th. Can't believe how big your grand little has gotten. They grow so quickly don't they?
Miss B is just precious! I wish we could be successful with growing lavender. Looks like you are ready for the 4th!
I'm looking forward to this holiday weekend too! Jack's gone until Sat at Boy Scout camp, but I'll keep busy and still enjoy some "Red, White, and Boom!" Your décor looks very patriotic and fun...so does your little cutie in the lake. That just screams Summer! So glad it's here finally!
You are "holiday ready" - great feeling, isn't it? I put my patriotic decorations out on Memorial Day and leave them thru July 4th. I'm a lazy decorator. *smile
Such a lucky little girl yo share summer memories with her mom & grandmother!
You home looks so festive! Dud you hook those pillows?
All the joys of a summer swim!
Looks like you are all set to enjoy the 4th. We just got our stuff up this weekend. Congrats on the weight loss. Slow and steady wins the race!
