Girls Weekend!

The sun has set on our girls weekend and soo much fun.
I met Kim and it was instant friendship!

Look at these two lovely ladies. Donna on the left
and Kim from Millie"s Mats on the right.

We hit all the hooking stores in the area and Stonewall
kitchens which is a gourmet food place. I did buy a few
things to take home.

We are standing under this wisteria how beautiful.
We had wonderful weather while we were together.
some rain one evening.

The only store picture was camp wool which we all bought something in.

Then it was off to the biker bar for a very good lunch.
Yes if you are brave or drinking a lot you ride the hog.
we passed on the hog ride and left with our bras on :)
(Yep they are real bras hanging from the rafters)
Not one picture of the lobster, seafood or lovely drinks the whole
weekend  I guess we were to busy eating.

There were also gifts Donna gave us these potted plants and
coasters that she made yes she made the pot!

And Kim well she brought the best gift of all besides herself!
She had  Deanne Fitzpatrick draw us a pattern that is only for the
three of us! Yes that is right AMAZING! I will never show the whole pattern as I do not want anyone to copy it, it so very special to me. Kim also knit the dish cloths and brought some of Deanne's special material to hook with.

It was so special meeting Kim and I can understand why she
has a very active group of friends. I sure wished she lived closer to me. What fun we had! It has to be a yearly event!

I'm so glad you guys had such a memorable weekend together. Those are nice personal gifts from Kim. It looks like your plan came out without a hitch.

I'm relieved that you girls came home with your bras, hahaha.
Hugs,
JB

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'M JEALOUS!!! What fun.
A specially designed DF pattern. How cool is that??? The little planter is so sweet, too.
I am so happy you all had such a wonderful time.
That wisteria is gorgeous. I didn't have even one flower on mine. It's growing like crazy but no buds. They probably froze out.
Hugs :)

So happy that you girls could all get together! Would love a bloggers get together somewhere ~ we all feel like we 'know' each other already! As for the wisteria ~ we chopped ours down ~ never ever bloomed! The special rug is a great gift!
