What I Am Doing For Thanksgiving

I have the new early American life waiting for me .....

I have put one little sprig of greens on my kitchen window....

I have filled Miss B's advent calendar that was her mom's
when she was little.......

I went with my dear friend to see the gift of lights at the race track
so amazing....!
****
It is just David and I for thanksgiving, yes we have been invited to dine with
others but some how it feels good to just be together and eat LOBSTER!!!!
That's right we have done the going out thing and steak or a turkey breast. So we
decided lobster would be fabulous!
***
Miss B is coming to bake Christmas cookies on Saturday
so I am going to try to get our tree up so she can help decorate that too.
***
I hope you all reach your loved ones safe and sound.
Happy Thanksgiving!

That sounds like a nice dinner. We have the kids here so traditional turkey, lots of cooking, cleaning and after mess to clean. Love being together, but the stress of prep doesn't seem worth it, be easier if I could use prepared foods, lol.

I hope you both have a wonderful time together.

LOBSTER?? Oh your poor little Pilgrims!!! My favorite food at a place called Tia's on the waterfront in Boston! How envious I am. Have a great day.

Awesome! A quiet thanksgiving with LOBSTER sounds great. I'm sure there were some pilgrims somewhere who lived by the sea and were thankful ;)

Happy Thanksgiving Cathy. Lobster sound delicious and you can do the turkey dinner at Christmas. Being thankful is what counts.

I love the Advent calendar. It's precious and now Miss B. has her own family heirloom.

Stay safe and warm.
Hugs,
JB

Lobster sounds so amazing ~ I have the same advent calendar~! I bought it from Avon many, many years ago and just gave it to my daughter. When she was little, she loved to move the mouse to the next day ;-)
