Ta Da Dump again!

A full moon brought very cold weather brrrrr

Luckily we have the beast in the basement!
It's ugly but oh soooo warm.....

There has been some Ta Da Dump finds.
David redid this grinding wheel bench into a
a really cool bench or table, all pieces came from the dump.

And today's find!!! Are you seeing what I am seeing???
a lot of cleaning and a lot of paint and I can see this full of wool.
I love the dump!

Speaking of the dump. Husband found this guess where??
with a 1.85 piece and now he has amazing salt spreader that
would normally go for 200.00

It hasn't all been about the dump. I have been hooking too.
and going out with friends....

And donuts! oh it is my biggest weakness. And I am not talking
about any old donut but really good donuts.

and to end this post a picture of my thanksgiving cactus.
blooming like crazy.
***
I hope you are all warm and cozy, we are expecting some
snow by thanksgiving they are saying. I have my snowshoes on
standby:)
Have a great weekend!

Cathy, your husband really hit the jackpot with that salt spreader. What a great find. Great shot of the moon. it was so bright this morning.
I'm looking forward to see your new wool shelves all painted.

Who cares if the stove is ugly as long as it does it's job of keeping your house warm...

My Christmas cactus is also blooming despite all my neglect lately.

I would love one of your doughnuts. yum yum...
Hugs,
JB

Look home made? Who made them?

OOH--I love those cubby hole thingies! I found a fishing tackle box at a Junk Barn once, with three trays, all with lids, fitting into the overall box and in it resides all my cross stitch floss bobbins! It is one of the best things I ever got!!!

Snow may be on it's way here soon. We are expecting an Alberta Clipper in the next day or so.

I remember the days when people left items to the side that were usable, we used to get our bikes that way. Now we have a garbage man and incinerators, lol.

I've been wondering about your dump finds ~ it's been a while.
That cubby will be PERFECT for wool!!! Please share a pic when full.
I'm sure the salt spreader is a necessary evil.
Hugs :)

OMG, I love the piece which will eventually hold wool. What a great find. The other finds were nice too but I've this thing for wool storage. Can't wait to see that beauty once it is finished.

GREAT GRABS AT THE DUMP!!
Not only do YOU save $$ with useful pieces (after inexpensive parts!), but YOU are keeping BIG footprints of plastic out of the landfill - YOU rock 8-)
... for that YOU deserve each and every one of those donuts - enjoy!! (lovin' on that 'wood holder' too!) HAPPY THANKSGIVING to YOU and your beautiful family!

(OOPS!!) misread your post! I'm much happier that you are going to use that beautiful piece for WOOL, instead of 'WOOD' 8-)!!
