Getting Comfy

I thought I would pull out some of my fall things to make us feel cozy.

I have been looking for this and it is always sold out.
It makes my morning coffee so much better.
Anything pumpkin makes me very happy.

I make a sour cream apple pie. I had a cup of sour cream left I
needed to use up. It is ok but I prefer a traditional apple pie.

When we were in Boston I had to walk this street to get to the
place I stayed at night. It is a beautiful street with lots of wonderful
architecture, and look at those street lights. If you were to live on this street it
would be very expensive. It is the beacon hill area of Boston.

This is one of the views from the 10th floor of Mass General.
And this is the view from our kitchen! So happy to be home.
But very thankful for the Drs and Staff in Boston.
David still has a ways to go but being home is good for the soul.

I much prefer the lovely view out your window than Mass. General's. Hope David is a bit better today, remember "slow but sure wins the race."

Cathy,
So glad you folks are home and getting all cozy for the season! Will continue to keep you in my prayers!
I'd love to visit Boston some day! The history and those old buildings would be delightful to experience in person! So true though after having been to the big city hospital that there's no place like home!!
Hugs!!

That creamer sounds divine! Now I'll be hunting for it in the grocery stores all weekend... lol!

Oh my, I've not seen the pumpkin spice creamer but WILL look for it!!!! Thanks for showing it. But did you really need to tease me more with the pie? Thank goodness it is late in the day and hopefully will forget that I saw that when I wake in the morning.

So glad you and your man are home in comfort. God Bless you both.

Keeping David in my thoughts and prayers for a complete recovery.
That expensive view from the hill is nice but nothing beats that view from your very own kitchen. That's priceless beauty.

Sending healing thoughts and prayers.
Hugs,

Welcome Home! I grew up in the city, but the view from your kitchen window beats any city skyline! (especially one from a hospital window) Sit back and relax this weekend and enjoy the beauty of the season and all the wonderful flavors..like that pie! I don't drink coffee, but I'm betting that tastes pretty good too!

Ah yes, Beacon Street--a beautiful place--ah, if there is such a thing in Boston. Do you have to ride the "T" to get to and from Mass General?

I'm so glad Dave is home. And your efforts to cozy up the place will be good for his spirit. There's nothing like being home.
Still praying.

So glad you're home. Missed reading yesterday's post - am working on a quilt for my grandsons birthday. Hope you can take it easy, too and David continues to get better. Work on some of your gorgeous rug hooking!

When we stayed they had a hotel with an adjoining hallway, so it made it easier for me not to have to go down any roads. Love your view, nothing like enjoying the last of fall.

Praying for you and for your hubby Dave.. Praying to God is all we can do...God is Love and he does answer our prayers..Maybe not the way we would like but he does answer our prayers..
I saw in your previous blogs that you bought some canning jars.. I like to take mine and put the solar lights inside the jar. It makes a pretty glow . I also bring my solar lights inside when the electricity goes off.. Makes good lighting and there are no candles to light.
Have a great Saturday...ta ta for now from Iowa:)
