There's A Storm A Coming!!!

There is a monster storm coming up the coast. We do not live
on the coast but every one is freaking out.
We live in the moutains about 1 1/2 away
I raked the yard and stacked wood we have extra water
and plenty to eat so we are good to go. I do not want to lose
power but if we do we do.
To everyone on the coast stay safe!

We're suppose to get in on the tail end...bringing snow perhaps. That's just too soon for me! Thankfully we had trick or treat last week on Thursday in our town..it was sunny and 75, just perfect for the kiddos. Stay safe and hopefully this won't be as bad as they think. Miracles do happen!

You have been on my mind a lot this week. I do hope and pray you keep your power through out this storm.
Can't believe the intensity of it and all the people being in its path.
Storms are incredible and should not be taken lightly.
You have been busy gathering firewood. Wow that looks like a lot.
Could not sleep so thought I would come by and say hello.
Take care and keep me posted on how you are doing.
Love
Maggie

Yup, Sandy is playing havoc with our beaches on the east coast and only essential personnel are supposed to be on the roads in Delaware according to the Governor. It has been raining for 3 days here and the worst of the rain and wind hasn't even hit us yet. Right now I've got power but think that will change as the storm gets worse.

Hi Cathy, Hope you and David weathered the storm and remain safe. We here in Maine are so fortunate, my thoughts go out to the people in New York and New Jersey. Hope all is well at Acorn Hollow, best regards, Julie.
