Battling The Creeping Crud....

We spent last weekend with our amazing grand baby.

The weather was wonderful, we went to a church sale and a yard sale.
Miss B had the best finds. And as you can see she loves the U.S.A.
Or maybe she is saying enough of the phone calls let the voting begin already.

If you read only one book this year make it this one.
Why this book has stayed under the radar in the book world is
beyond me. If you liked the secret life of bees you will love love, love, this book.
***
I have been battling a bad cold from the the time we got back from babysitting.
and since I have to keep it away from husband I have been locked in
the spare bedroom and a mask on when I do make it out.
I am on the up side at this point.
***
On our way back from Miss B's (husband and I were in separate cars)
He found a bunch of free furniture. No I do not have pictures soon I hope
One piece is the sweetest dressing table with a the cutest mirrors very old and in great shape.
I stopped to help him load and off we went with a full truck.
***
Have a great weekend all they can talk about here is the perfect storm
we will not see any of it maybe a bit of rain. But oh boy the hype behind this.

Sorry about your cold and being segregated from your husband. He's still in my prayers nightly and I hope that he will have a clean bill of health soon. I'm glad that you found some great bargains.

Your little granddaughter is so sweet and is growing fast.
Get some rest and get better soon.
Hugs,

JB

I fought the creeping crud and it is gone now, thankfully. However, I live in Delaware along he eastern seaboard so will have that big fight to battle. Just hope we don't get yet ANOTHER flood. We've had two 100 year floods about 3 years apart.

So sorry about your cold and hope that you start feeling better soon. I heard all the hype about the Frankenstorm and hope that it's just hype. Take good care of yourself and have a great weekend.

Big Hugs,

Oh Cathy Feel Better. Yep it's that time of the year again for the creeping cruds! I had to go to a company dinner with Greg on Wednesday. At the table he introduced me to the people and of course we all shook hands, only to find the guy one next to me wasn't eating because he was coming down with the stomach flu!!!!!! I wanted to run out of the building and find my hand sanitizer. Couldn't really do that, but so far, so good. I hope you feel better. Have a great weekend!! Cyndi

Poor dear holed up in a bedroom. I do hope you are over this cold by now.
I can't imagine finding such great things like you and hubby do. Can't wait to see pictures.
Your Miss B is so adorable. Isn't it the best when we get to see them.
They sure grow up fast. I could not believe how much mine have grown just this summer.
I am off here to see if I can download this book on my Nook. You know me I love a good read.
Love ya
