Camping trip a success!

The weather was beautiful and a total of 24 of us.

Lots of fun. (My brother in law would kill me if he saw this hehehe)
There was swimming, lots of eating and a few cocktails,
a little karaoke, =great memories

We always get an official camp out shirt every year
The best part of the camp out was;
when my grand daughter saw me for the first time she ran to me with her arms up.
ok honey girl what do you want a pony?, cash?, you name it cause you totally have my heart!

I got my Mary Jane's farm magazine when I got home.
I am really lusting for a vintage trailer!

So for my birthday I ordered her new book coming out in Sept.
(My birthday is a month away)

This is my 300th post who knew I would be so gabby. Ok my family would.
I am thinking about a give away I just haven't any thing in mind right now.
stay tuned.

Even if your on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there,

So fun! What a great idea and the camp shirts have to be a hit. We used to camp all the time when I was growing up but even though my hubby camps with the Boy Scouts and our own boys when they were scouts, we really didn't camp much with our kiddos. (hotels were the order of the day!) A vintage trailer would be fun too..they are all the rage now. I think people really just want to slow down and go back to simpler times. Glad you had so much fun!

Congrats on post #300. Time sure does fly when you are having fun.
It sounds like a fun get-together. I betcha Miss Baby will get whatever she wants...wink, wink.
I just heard the term glamping for the first time a couple weeks ago. My idea of roughing it is a Holiday Inn with no pool...lol!

I love that your grandaughter ran to you when she saw you! My parents are feeling this exact same way right now (with my brothers kids). And they are in HEAVEN! I'm so happy for you!!

Your family camp out sounds like so much fun! I'm giggling about the pony promise though! I would love a vintage camper...and a nice cross country road trip to go with it! Oh, and lots of cash to go junking along the way!
Congrats on the 300 posts!
Hugs,
Courtney

My husbands grew up going to Ossipee every summer. His sister still goes there. It looks like you guys had a wonderful time. I bet Miss Baby stole the the show and every ones heart as well. Aren't the vintage campers to die for. I saw a whole program on TV about them and restoring them back to their original beauty.

GREAT memories and a t-shirt too :)

I LOVE Maryjane and her mag and those vintage glamping vehicles are so inviting -- making even me want one, lol.

How sweet that your granddaughter beat a path to her grandma :)

Blessings!

Those camp shirts are a great idea! That Miss Baby is one smart little girl. She had you wrapped around her finger from day one. Can't wait to meet her pony some day!!

I used to love camping when I was younger and perhaps if I had a significant other it would be fun again. Thanks for the trip back in time and fun memories.

Hi Cathy...looks like a fun time was had by all! Congrats on 300 posts...what a milestone.
You asked me how old Annie is...she will be 26 next month. She stays home with me now because the local programs are not the best. The program you spoke of sounds ideal...wish they had something similar around here. Luckily, she loves being home...tells everyone she is "retired".
Take care,
Robyn
