Lately I have read a lot about people and their passions. I wonder do I have a passion?
I love to garden in the summer but I don't feel it is a passion. A passion is consuming...
I read about a girl who love pickles she has a website dedicated to pickles. Silly right? but
not to her and it was a national mention in a magazine.
I love to hunt for the next great find. But do I live for it? And what will I do with a lot of
finds except keep or pass them on to friends?
I have many things that I love to do, We live in an amazing area.
My friends and family are amazing. Maybe that is my passion.

Thank you for all the good wishes for David's birthday, facebook and the phone exploded with wishes he was over whelmed and humbled. He did get his Mac and cheese with 1/2 lb of pure lobster meat in it.

Since I am reading an amazing John Irving book right now.(Last Night In Twisted River)
I thought a quote from him would be great.
You only grow by coming to the end of something and beginning something else.

Hello Cathy, good question? not to sure about my passion.Love to hunt down that great antique, also gardening, animals but mostly family. Glad your Hubby had a great Bday. Blessings Francine.
Beautiful photos!!
I've been trying to think what my passion might be. I think I have ADD because I tend to move on to many different things. Not getting too attached to one..weird? Maybe. But I have many things I do enjoy and life is about balance so doing many things might be a good thing. I enjoy reading..alot..magazines..alot! Gardening, cooking, family, work, eating, laughing, church..well, I guess my passion is varied!
Hmmm This quote is good "food for thought"...though probably not as good as a full half pound of lobster in that mac and cheese!
Erica :)
Hmmm.....where shall I begin. I used to read, no I should say inhale, John Irving books, but I haven't read him in quite awhile. I heard he had a new one out.
So glad hubs got his perfect present. I've never tried mac and cheese with lobster. One day perhaps....
And don't you think your passion is your family? Love of family and friends is what I find when I visit you here, even when you're talking about your latest find from your marvelous dump. As Martha would say, "It's a good thing."
Good food for thought. JB
I've had several passions over the years. I used to be passionate about writing for children. Now, it's rugs and spinning. I do tend to burn out on my passions, though. Or get to many to make one really successful. This is such an interesting question. I look forward to reading what others have to say!
Hugs,
Courtney
Um passions...well I do love to do a lot of things but, if I seriously thought about these things and thought if they went away tomorrow would I be devasted? No, I wouldn't. As long as I have time to spend with my family and friends, life will always be great! Thank you for your visit and I hope you are having a fantastic day! Hugs, Diann :)
Hi Cathy, I do have many activities that I enjoy, but a passion. Well, at this point in my life I would say rocking that new grandbaby of mine, when needed I drop whatever I am doing and head next door! Hope you and David are enjoying these first day's of summer! Hugs, Julie.
I like your list of passions.
As for me - it's my home and family and then...cross stitch.
I'm not sure I have a passion. I like doing and collecting lots of things, but nothing I couldn't stop doing. Your area is beautiful. My daughter is living on Tenney Mtn. this summer. She keeps telling my husband and I to move up there.
Food for thought for sure!! I'm not sure what my passion is but I don't think I even have time for one. Well maybe dogs and rescue are my passion since I do that as for me. It gives me a break from taking care of my dad. So....it could be...hmmm.

If I had to guess, I say your passion is the same as mine: your home and family - followed by all the creative things we enjoy doing.
Ooooh. I don't know.:(
That is a question that I struggle with often. I kind of feel that being passionate about one thing would exclude other things. I am not really truly passionate about any one thing. Is that bad? I kind of feel like it is...

P.S Love the JI quote.
