He's A Keeper

Monday and Tuesdays are long days at work, about 10 hours. By the time I walk in the door
making dinner is not what I want to do. Monday I walked in the door and found this!

He had made dinner and not just some dinner he tried a brand new recipe!
David does not cook he doesn't even flip hamburgers this was huge!
I even had a little flower on my plate and he made a bouquet of roses from my garden.
It was a wonderful meal He is a keeper and so is the recipe.
He told me that it had terms he knew from carpentry. Slice, shave, chop so he thought he could handle it :0)

Three of my planters outside are a beautiful blue so I decided on red, white, and blue as a planting theme for my pots.
The non blue pots I took a cue from Stone Wall Kitchens and planted a blueberry bush in one.
every chipmunk and squirrel in a 10 mile area have checked it out.  We may not get
many blueberries to eat.
***
The nights are still cool so it is fire pit time.

Two of our chairs are painted and ready.
And our house is decked out for the fourth. We will be home for the fourth the first time in several years. Our area has wonderful fireworks and parade I am looking forward to attending.
***
My husband's cousin Donna has started a blog so hop on over, say hi and that I sent you.
***
If you have a little room for some extra prayers please add my niece Melissa who is facing a major health
crisis. She is much to young  at 34.

Yes I would say he IS a keeper for sure. It is things like that which make us females just swoon over our men....well that is if you are lucky enough to have a man in your life.

Yes, will say a prayer, for sure.

I agree, David is a keeper. I just love a man who knows his way around a kitchen or is willing to find his way around a kitchen. Let's hope the sun appears tomorrow, I know my blueberry bushes could use some. Sending prayers, Julie.

Ahhhh...I hate blogger sometimes..I posted a comment but it disappeared..so here goes another try. I love that David made you such a yummy dinner..with flowers and everything..very romantic! I think your porch and yard look so inviting. I wish our back deck was screened to keep the bugs at bay. Enjoy the weekend and I'll keep your family in my prayers as always.
