the smell of may flowers with the waxy whiteness of the blooms.
I love seeing my grand daughter's hand prints on the window.
They say she was here.
I love that the lowest tec toy was the biggest hit of our Easter. Children begging for a turn, waiting to hear the slapping of the duck's feet on the ground.
I love that I work in a small New England college town. I work on Main street, this is my view.
And this too. The church my daughter grew up in and was married in.
I love that cleaning out a drawer I found a ufo from last year. It was thrown aside when husband got sick. I love that I found it and can finish it with a glad heart.
What do you love most about life?

Is it a grandmother thing or an age thing? I too find myself loving the simple things like flowers and babies and the joy of a beautiful spring day. Great post!
I was sad to hear Dick Clark had died. I too grew up with him every Sat. on Bandstand...You have many things to love today and I do too..too many to list but I do love your blog and your friendship!
I use to leave hand prints on glass doors too. I knew those little hands would be gone all too fast.
Love your view and love that beautiful forsythia bush...I really miss them.

Wow, Miss baby grew quickly. So cute.
I can understand how precious those little fingerprints are. The same happened to me when my twin grandsons were just learning to walk and they both stood up at my patio door and left small hand prints on my window. I couldn't bear to wash them and left them there for a long time. I appreciated so much these prints that they left me after they went home.
How nice that you found that rug at this time. Happy Hooking.
Hugs, JB
I love the smell of fresh cut grass in the spring; sand between my toes when walking on the beach with my boys; finding amazing garage sale goodies and bloggy friends like you!
Hope you and the hubby are going great!

I love where you live. My daughter will be living there this summer. She has a job up there. I love that they loved the duck. just adorable.
Sounds like a wonderful life.
Hello Cathy:
Such wonderful pleasures confirming that it is, indeed, the simple things which count so much in life.
This whole post reads rather in the manner of Rupert Brooke's 'These I have loved...'. Such joy.
I love your sweet post today..smile...
I grinned when I read the part about the hand prints as I still have them on my windows from my little grands' last visit. :)
Such lovely photos and the post is too. I love the simple pleasures of life also.
What a pretty project you have there.
I guess I could write this morning I love that I can awaken without an alarm telling me it's time to get up, the first cup of coffee as I watch the daylight emerge from the darkness, sitting on the deck and hearing the birds chirp and sing, among so many other wonderful joys of life. I DO love the simple life.

I love the fingerprints too...that's my favorite!! Love your views too and New England is my favorite part of the country. Lucky you!! The rug looks like it will be a cheerful note on a stressful year. I hope mine ends as well.
My son is 43 and I still have his first grade handprint that was made as a gift to parents. It is still hanging on my sewing room wall.
Glad you are working on the UFO with a happy heart and it has wonderful vibrant colors to express your joy.

I love the smell of lilacs and the air after a summer shower.
Lots to mention.
Nice post!

I love that all is going so well with David!!! And that Miss Baby is cute as a button. It seems like just yesterday you were fretting over what she should call you and hubby. How time flies!

Dick Clark's death saddened me also- I spent many Saturday mornings watching American Bandstand- he is just an icon of my youth!
Your town looks like something out of a storybook! This post is the perfect reminder to appreciate all the small, dear things all around us.
You have much to love! And I can see why you do love it all.
Yes, those were fun Saturday's dancing right in our living rooms.
Very sweet! I'm just getting around to visiting blogs.
Hugs,
Courtney
