I have been cleaning out closets and found a few treasures. These are paint by numbers that my daughter painted when she was little. I have them out for Easter, she is now 28 and will be horrified.I couldn't love them more if they were Monet.
You have to go visit my daughter's blog there are some cute Miss Baby picture said her Grammie.
I found this picture that my mother had, my grand father is on the right he was born in 1893 and on the left is his life long friend. I love this picture it is a bit of my grandfathers spirit he was up for anything. By the time I came along he was getting old but he would walk up the big hill in the winter and race us down on sleds. Such good memories.
I did get to the dump and found these 2 mason jars I think they are pints, the odd thing is they are square.
It was a cold snowy weekend and I felt like cooking. This is oatmeal bread that had
molasses and honey in it.The bread was yummy with the pot roast and for toast the next morning.
Today I baked some peanut butter cookies, with a cup of tea heavenly.
I am working on transferring a quail hill rug. It is the chicken going to school. I am going to hook it for Miss Baby. I call her Chicken, her mom teaches school. Her dad is a juvenile probation officer so on the flag I will have the NH seal or maybe handcuff the chicken jk:0)
Thank you for all of the good wishes for David we have many blessing to be thankful for.
Big Deal I'm use to dust.

I think your Daughter's PBN Bunnies are wonderful. You can't buy happy memories like that! I've spent the day in the kitchen baking too, but it is nearly 70 outside. I really need a deep cold snap and some snow! At least for a day or two anyway.
Beautiful treasures. I wish I was sipping tea and eating fresh PB cookies. But then I'd have to bake ;)
I love the photo of you grandpa. I love looking at the old photos. It brings those ancestors to life. Those pictures are your daughter painted are priceless.
Have a great week!
Oh Cathy! How sweet are the bunny pictures, no wonder you treasure them :o) I'm sure in years to come daughter will understand as Miss Baby produces works of art too!
Your grandfathers photo is lovely, and it comes with loving memories - how can that be beaten?
The oatmeal bread looks yummy, and peanut butter cookies...mmmmmm:o)
I love that you're making an heirloom for Miss Baby to treasure too.

Great finds..I love the jars, so unusual. I think my fav thing about this post are the final words of Erma...she was the funniest lady around and I just loved her! Have a great week and enjoy more toast and cookies that looked like comfort food for the soul!

The mason jars look vintage. There is nothing that makes the house smell as wonderful as bread baking.
