Rough Waters

The transplant was yesterday to great joy both brothers did well The nurse gave the cells the sign of the cross when she hung it,I hope God was looking.
Today he is in rough waters he is feeling pretty sick. It was expected and he may get sicker (still not easy)
before he gets better. There is a major fight going on in that body so keep us in your prayers.
Our daughter was able to spend an over night with us in Boston it was a good boost for both of us.
We are skyping Miss Baby, now she thinks her grandparents live in a computer.
To the new followers bless your hearts! To my dear old friends thank you, I have read your comments twice today alone, it helps to get me through. know that I am reading your blogs even though I do not comment all the time.
Fear is expecting things will go wrong
Faith is knowing things will be ok

keeping the faith,Cathy

My heart goes out to you both...and your dear daughter too. And David's brother. What courage you all have...but then our courage kicks in during the dark hours of our lives. You have such love in your midst...so powerful...you know it can bring miracles. Prayers...I'm keeping them coming fast and furiously! I think of you down in Boston and wish I could be there...if only to run around and get you stuff 'cuz I know the area so well.

So funny that your darling Miss Baby thinks you live in a computer!! You will be setting her straight very soon with real visits, rather than virtual visits!

Keep the laughter flowing and visualize what you both want. Focus on all good health. See yourselves healthy and doing the things you love.
Many hugs!!

Dear Cathy,
I'm so glad David and his brother came through well. Lets hope the second half of this goes just as smooth. It must have been wonderful to be able to get a hug and kiss from your daughter. Stay strong and as always, prayers Davids way. Susan

Cathy,

You and yours remain in my daily thoughts and prayers. I'll remember to ask specifically for his sickness to not linger. Take good care of yourself. I look forward to your lovely blogs when you are back home in recovery mode.

May God richly bless you during this time.
Love,
Ginger

Cathy,
I am thinking of you and hubby and your family and continuing prayers! One day at a time as they say. Stay strong and positive.
That skype technology is changing the way babies see everything isn't it! I think it's marvelous for those far away and unable to see loved ones in person!
Hugs!

I'm so thankful to read that the transplant went well for both brothers. I'm positive 'He' was watching long before his nurse made the sign of the cross and will be watching over you all long after. I'm glad to read that your daughter was able to come and stay a night. So cute that Miss Baby will think you live inside the computer. She is precious :)

Prayers continue to be sent. Remember to take care of yourself too! :)

Cathy, I have many problems but none like yours so I can't pretend to know what you are going through. I can guess though and my heart aches for you. It helps, I think, to know that your friends lift you up in prayer when you are too weak to do that alone. Please know that you have many friends...even "out here" who will do that for you! Bless that nurse that put the sign of the cross on the bone marrow drip!!

Cathy, my prayers and love are with you, David and your daughter and your little grandbaby.

The sea is rough and the boat is small but Davis is not alone in the boat. Jesus and our prayers are with him.

Keep up you strength. He will have some difficult time but he will pull through. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love and hugs. Julia

Your boat brought to mind the line in a song; no tempest can swallow the ship where lies the master of ocean and earth, and skies. He, our loving master is ever present with you, David, his brother and your family as you are feeling tossed about.
I'm praying for peace within and wholeness to be restored. You have many sisters out here lifting you up to the Lord.
Love and blessing sent your way-Kimberly

Dear Cathy, I'm happy to hear that David and his brother are doing well after the transplant. David's brother must be as special and loving brother and friend.

Susan (From Beyond My Kitchen Window) and I were talking about you and your husband this evening and hoping that your husband's recovery is speedy.

Please know that you, your husband and family are in my thoughts and prayers.

To make you giggle, here's a goofy joke.

Q: How do you get a squirrel out of a tree?

Scroll down for answer . . .

A: You act like a nut!

It is going to be a bit rocky for awhile, but I know that God holds David in the palm of His hand. Don't forget to breathe!

Hang in there, so glad that the transplant went well. Surely an answer to prayers.
A friend of mine had to keep her grandson for a year while her daughter was in Iraq and he would cry for his mom to get out of the box! So glad you can still see your little one, has to break up the days!
