I stocked up on movies and books...and found a few vintage things. The pillow is a pine pillow and it smells so good. All in all a good day.
We are still working on the apartment hope to be done soon.

What terrific buys! I love the movie, The Holiday. It is so sweet. I have a copy of it. Sorry to hear about your husband and I do hope whatever treatment he chooses that it will be a success.
What lovely finds Cathy! The pine pillow is gorgeous, and your cookie cutters look very good quality.
You and David are never far from my thoughts, and of course I send my continuing good wishes for a full recovery to David.

I will pray for your dear husband.
And for your family. It must be tough to go through all of this.
I'm glad you had a good morning and you sure made a good haul there. Now you can kick off your shoes, put your feet up, and enjoy your magazines.
Have a great Sunday!
Boy, do I live in the wrong area. I'd never find buys like that here! I bet the wool is beautiful. It's certainly enough to make yourself a nice jacket!

Prayers for you and hubby. Thankfully there is a match for him! I used to be on the registry but was removed when I had one small bit of skin cancer removed. Keep the faith, dear friend. Lots of prayers are coming from all your blog friends!
Hugs :)

You both are always in my prayers. I really look forward to the quotes at the end of your posts.
Great thrifty finds at the next town. Isn't it so much fun to shop that way, especially with a friend?! I will pray for your husband and so thankful that his brother is such a great match.
Hugs,
Mary
Good wishes to your hubby and I will keep him in my prayers. I know this road and it's a bumpy one..hang in there! Great finds this weekend..after I finish a painting project (or two) I'll be ready to haul out the fall decorations. Are those vintage postcards I spy?
I pray it goes well. The fact his brother is a match is wonderful. Keep busy. I too have been married 35 years and have an only married daughter. I enjoy your finds they always make me smile.
Cathy, what a great shopping spree and what a bargain. That wool is to die for. Just the right color for fall. Yummy, yummy. lucky you...
My friend Sue Ann had a bone marrow transplant for her acute leukemia and it was tough for her for a while but she is doing fantastic now and is a bundle of energy now and is running her candy making business again.
I'm sure that everything will go well. There are so much advances in medicine now, everything will be OK. Hugs and prayers. JB
Great finds! Here's a bit of encouragement. My husband's first cousin also battled lukemeia, in his early sixties, the only option left was a bone marrow transplant. The transplant was a success, it is seven years later and he is living a rich and productive life. Keeping you both in my prayers, Julie.
Good luck on the transplant. I know it's not the same, but my dad had a kidney transplanet when I was 3. He's still doing great.
Lots of good loot.
Wow! You got enough stuff to have your own yard sale!
I pray that your husband heals after his bone marrow transplant.

Hi Cathy-
I was doing some blog surfing and ended up here~~~ so glad I did~
I read that your husband is needing a bone marrow transplant. I just wanted to tell you that we just returned from a 3 week travels out west and a friend went with us who had undergone a transplant 5 years ago. He has beat all the odds - out lived the 3 years that they gave him to live and is doing remarkably well.
Keep your faith - miracles do happen. I will keep your husband and you in my prayers as you journey down this bumpy road~~

What fun finds! :) Keeping you and your husband in my prayers.
My dear! I'm so behind on my blogging. I just tuned in and found out the latest news about your dear man. Upping the prayers tenfold! Keep hope going strong. Know that I'm thinking of both of you throughout the days!
God Bless!
Courtney
