One is Silver The Other is Gold

I am home from the hook-in. It was so much fun and I made a new friend. on the left is my long time friend Priscilla and the on the right is courtney. She is a blog friend that I got to meet at the hook-in. she sat with us, I enjoyed meeting her we all became comfortable as long time friends.
Here are a few rugs from the show. the oak leaf runner won second place.
and here is another one. I will show more next post.
When I got home I had a box waiting for me. My husband followed me around and kept saying did you see the box you got? He couldn't wait for me to open it. I won Shara's give away! yahoo! As you can see it was full of the most wonderful goodies. And as you all know we are having a make-up Easter because we were so sick and it has all kinds of Easter goodies. and Necco waffers as you can see I tasted them to make sure they were good:) Shara's kitties must of been near the box because Sadie was sure there was a cat in that box.
My dump find for Friday was this cool wagon it has all the sides it just needs a little TLC. Can't you just see this filled with flowers? Oh and Courtney found out I wasn't the only one picking the dump. My friend was telling her of a little stool find she hooked a mat for:)

I have a lot more to share. Lots of antiquing, dinner with friends, and amazing rugs.
I am sharing the recipe for the Marbled Banana Bars I wrote about in the last post.

Cathy,
I had such a great time meeting both of you! I am frantic with a very busy open house and gathering up my job packets. I haven't even had the chance to blog about this hook-in! I'm sending stuff out tomorrow for jobs and we may have an offer on the house tomorrow morning!! So, I'll get caught up tomorrow night! I may be taking you both up on your antiquing offer sooner than you think! ;-) I love the red wagon...I may need to borrow it to move!!
Give my best to Priscilla!
Hugs,
Courtney

You can never have too many friends. I love the recipe. The directions are really straight forward. Next time I have extra bananas I know what I will be trying. I'll let you know how it comes out.

It's wonderful that you made a new friend at the hook-in. What fun you all must have had and you certainly showed off some pretty rugs. Thanks for the yummy recipe too! Oh ~ I discovered that the house and barn where Dows Corner Antiques used to be is for sale. What a wonderful house and barn. I never missed going for a visit every time we went up to your area.

Love,
