Mocking Me

We were having snow every other day. It felt like my snowpeople I keep out were mocking me. I think it is time to put them away.
I got a couple of thrifty finds. A roll of this wool edging from Germany. I think it is pretty old. I am putting it on my jeans not sure how it will wash but willing to try it.
I also got this brand new grater for 4.00.
I always grate my own cheese.
And husband finished a puzzle.
It has turned warm and melted the driveway nicely.
Not sure what the next few days holds but we will be watching the Patriots on Sunday

Good morning, loving your snow people-you find the neatest items from the thrift stores-I miss that-there was a huge one not too far from the woods home that I donated to and bought-all sorts of items. I was buying the largest size of men's cotton shirts with sleeves I could find and cut them into pieces for quilts.
Lots of good playoff games on this weekend. there is big one the bears v the packers but it is only on Prime-ugh
Enjoy your weekend

We woke to the trees covered in white but not snow, maybe ice. It's melted away now and the roof is dripping as the temps exceed 32 here.

Yes, those snow people need to be put away! Although we are having crazy weather here. We had wild thunderstorms and pouring rain last night with thunder that shook the house. More snow coming tonight though.
I have a grater like that, great deal!
I like that trim you found too.

That edging is a nice find. I'm wondering who else's cheese would you grate? Then I thought, ah, she doesn't buy it ready grated. Good. There are additives in it to stop clumping, but I think it's wise to avoid them.

I’m sure the snow melting on your steep drive is most welcome!
Good luck to your Patriots!

I love that edging from Germany! I have an old crochet hook from Germany. I looked it up recently, they are rare and much valued! I love mine!

It’s gotten milder here too, a nice break from the bitter colder for a few days!

I think the trim is awesome. Maybe you could wash it before putting it on your jeans just in case it shrinks. I love the puzzle!

Enjoyed seeing your hooked stair mats. Are you finished making them now? We have no snow here and it was extremely windy here today. Janice
