Last Of The Rugs

I need to get a coffee first. Husband broke our coffee pot. So, we are doing Keurig not my favorite. But it is coffee until the replacement comes.

The color in this rug is perfect for this pattern.

I like the braiding around this rug.
I love these kinds of rugs, but I will never do one.
My teacher Joanne Page hooked this one and it is her pattern.
and Joanne is working on this rug also.
These are Davey DeGraf rugs. She is one of those amazing green mountain rug hookers. I really want to take a class with her. It is not fine shaded, and it is with a #6 cut to get that look. It really looks like a watercolor. We had a chance to chat with her she is very sweet and talented.
Husband made a turkey for our sign. It needs to be painted but that will happen after Thanksgiving.
I put up some Christmas decorations.
I keep a dish of ornament hangers. They are a tangled mess I just shake the ball and out comes a few I can use, husband just shakes his head.
*****
We have been cold and overcast most of the week.
I went to a church fair with a friend I spent 2.00 on two books that is it.
Have a great week!!!

Sorry about the pot. Have you tried pour over? If you have a removable filter or you can just fill it with coffee and pour hot water over. Works really well. We do pour over here, I have a filter just for that and then we do the pods. Just depends on where the sale is for the coffee at the time. I like having both options and we rarely drink more than one and sometimes don't even finish that one.

More wonderful rugs! I especially love the Starry Night based on Van Gogh. One of my favourites!

Some more fun rugs. I am a sucker for a braided edge….I’ve done it, but it’s one of those things that I need to do frequently to remember how to do it properly and I don’t. I also love how the hooker worked her initials and the year into the edge of that geometric one. I’m not a fan of Kuerig either even when I use the same brand/flavor coffee I use in my regular coffee maker. Very little Christmas progress being made here.

I enjoyed seeing the rugs The last ones with the scenes are what my Mom would hook, back then she hooked with very very narrow strips that she dyed and cut.

I love all of these. Some of the shading is amazing. I laughed at your ornament hooks. I have the same situation -- shaking it is the only way to go!

Enjoyed the last of the rugs and love the turkey your husband made. Guess next year we'll get to see Tom all dressed in his colorful new suit.

More great rugs! I hope you get your new coffeemaker soon so you can have the kind you prefer. I actually like the Keurig kind more but since we both drink a number of cups a day we generally make a pot.

I like the Starry rug and I also like the Kitchen herbs one as well.
I use the Kurrig machine for convenience but I prefer fresh grind coffee made in a percolator.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Hugs,
Julia

Tangled ornament hooks are the bane of everyone at this time of year, so you are not alone in your method of untangling them😏. Wishing you a Happy 🦃.
