We lost an important member of our family this weekend.
Aunt Sue (on the right)
She never married or had children of her own. She adored her family especially her nieces and nephews.
Her passing was sudden and very unexpected. And the family is in bits.

Sudden unexpected deaths are the worst. I hope that everyone there can remember the good times with her as they mourn her passing.

I'm so behind on reading, Cathy, I'm sorry I missed this earlier. I'm deeply sorry for your loss and send you and your husband wishes for peace and healing. This is simply too young. And as others have mentioned, an unexpected loss is especially difficult to wrap one's head around. My deepest sympathies.
