We have been as "Hot as the hinges to hell" my dear mother used to say. It makes me physically ill. The only air conditioning is in our bedroom and neither of us can sleep with the noise of it running.
It is going to break tonight thankfully.
Anyway I got out some stitching today hooking is to hot.
Today is my sweet husbands birthday! Another trip around the sun. I do think we got a bit to close lately.

Happy birthday wishes to your husband! We were sweltering here as well...and worse than not having any a/c, I had a HVAC system pouring out heat at full blast heating the house to 84º by 9:30 in the morning of the first day of the heat wave. It only got hotter from there. :-( I have a/c again but now it's almost time to turn on the heat again...we barely got above 60 today and it's been pouring rain non-stop all day. Already over an inch and a half and more coming down. :-(
Happy 🎂🎉birthday to your birthday guy and hope he had some lovely treats, ice cream comes to mind in this heat wave.
