A Big Birthday....

Thursday I had a big birthday, The day started with a call from my daughter and sweet B who sang happy birthday.
Then the mail box only contained birthday cards!
It finished with dinner out with husband.

The next day we headed to ride the train in Conway that was having a birthday party. Music, cake, and balloons very fun.
That evening my daughter and son in law made me dinner. Amazing steak tips! With lots of Miss B time. We spent the weekend in a B&B near by.

Saturday we yard saled and I found a few treasures ,that old bottle brush tree was 50 cents! A great handmade mug and some tea lights out of a free box.

A lobster feast was up Sat night! So good!

My daughter and son in law not really sure lobster is their thing but
they gave it a great try. Love them both so much!

Then we were off to an old fashion wooden bridge dance!

The structure inside a covered bridge is always just amazing and how fun to have a dance right on the bridge. And dance we did Miss B just had a blast with all her fun moves!
An amazing gift from my daughter and son in law, the acorn!
My first Alex and Ani bracelet.
The humble acorn holds the potential of the mighty oak. Sometimes, the biggest blessings come in the smallest packages, Recognize and receive the serendipitous gifts of the universe. Miracles come when you least expect them. Open your mind, heart, and soul to receiving life's unexpected blessings.

I am truly blessed.

Hello Dear Friend
It has been so nice to stop by here tonight. I truly loved reading your post tonight and from hearing from you by email.
Wishing you a very Happy Birthday!! Sounds like you have the prefect celebration with Miss B and family. I Know she is really growing up. Such a darling.
A dance on an old bridge sound like huge fun way to spend an evening. We need more times like that in our lives especially now.
I looked on my old blog and could not believe its been a year since I posted. I guess since I waited so long I don't have friends listed any more so I may have trouble visiting some of them if their private now.
Take care honey. Enjoy your week.
Hope to stay in touch
Love
Maggie

Happy Birthday! That was a birthday bash in a big way...lobsters too...YUMM!! We have a charming covered bridge in a state park near us and I bet they never thought to have a dance there. What a fun thing to do and I'm glad you could spend so much time with Miss B and family. That's the really important part!

Happy Belated Birthday Cathy. You really did have a great time and I would love to see Miss B.'s dance moves. I bet it was fun to be with your family. I love your bracelet. What a thoughtful gift. I'm so envious of those lobsters. I'm a fool for seafood, especially lobster and scallops.

I'm so glad I stopped in to say Happy Birthday. I'm glad to see Grandma Yellow Hair has left a comment. I haven't been on the computer much this summer and it's nice to connect with friends once in a while. Take care and have a great rest of summer.
Hugs,
Julia
