Spring...

A few weeks ago coming home from Miss B's and who do we meet but a moose.(not this moose but one just a big) It was dark and I was driving while husband slept. I thought I saw something on the yellow line and then I saw him move his head. He was across my lane, I saw him in plenty of time to stop. I said "moose" husband sat up straight in his seat! The moose looked at us for a bit and just walked into the woods. There were no other cars around so I was very thankful I was able to see it ahead of time.

We planted our little veggie garden and I put in a few
flowers not many. this is a Rosemary I have kept for a few years.
I have to bring it in in the winter as it will die on the first frost. I added a germanium

I caught a gnome passing by.

Some lily of the valley that smells amazing.

We went to a wedding yesterday for my brother in law.
It was held outside and
it was so hot! it was in the 90's with high, high, humidity.
It actually made me sick. I do not like that kind of weather
and this came out of now where.
I am happy right here.....ahhhh

It is cooler now but going into the heat again this week.
I have bought a new rug pattern I need to get hooking again hopefully I will get it transferred before winter.
Have a Great Week Everyone!

We only have deer that want to torment us on the highways around here and I think seeing an animal that big would scare me to death! Glad he decided to head the other way! We've had some very warm and humid days and some thunder storms thrown in...like tonight! Enjoy this special weekend to honor our Veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Take care!

OMG, looks like you could drive your car between the middle of his legs. Sure wouldn't want to meet up with THAT during a drive.

This heat is a killer, cannot do much and the only good place is the ocean, which is crowded now that the holiday is here.
What area was the moose in, I never get to see one, maybe this year.

Scary moose! I travel back and forth to the beach at night a lot in the summer and I almost always see a deer. Freaks me out. We have had cool weather, no real hot days yet. I'm not looking forward to it getting too hot but a little warmer would be nice

What a huge moose. I am glad he moved on. We are having hot weather next week too. It bothers me more than it used to.
Enjoy your weekend on the porch. I can't wait to see your new pattern. I need to plant some more flowers in my little garden too. Have a wonderful day.

I've never seen a moose, but the deer population in Ohio is scary.
Happy Memorial Day, my friend. Your porch picture looks like the perfect way to pass the holiday (though I know you are at work ~ bummer).
Hugs :)
