Clams, Clams, Clams

I love clams! and I had them twice this weekend yummm
I am a new Englander and although I have spent the better part of my married life in NH, I was born and brought up in Maine. We had clams a lot usually steamed with butter but I like them any way I can get them!

This is my sweet B, they had eggs hatch this week at preschool.
Look at that sweet face you know she wants to kiss that chick but the teacher said no.

I had the best mother's day my sweet B made me this pot with flowers. My daughter, son in law, and B came over. We thrifted
went to lunch, I got great gifts and the best part was having the time together. It was just a perfect day I am very blessed.

My husband has been very busy, this is the old lamp post.
nice but....

Not as great as this! Look what he built amazing right? That copper light has never looked so good. Now He has to make another one for the top of the driveway.

I just got this book. I decided I would read it as I am awful with coupons, but my daughter is amazing. she does so well with them without hording all kinds of things like on TV.
Are any of you good couponers?

We have a busy week ahead with a trip to Boston thrown in.
I hope your weekend was a good one and have a great week!

I love clams too, can only eat steamers since fried has bread but need to see if I can make my own recipe, miss those.
Miss B looks so cute with the chick and the new post came out really nice.

Wow----do those clam look wonderful. I was born in RI so love my sea food. Lived in Fl for over 40 years, they had good sea food, but now I live in the Pacific NW and they don't know how to do sea food like the east coast. I sure miss it.

Those clams did look good. I'm from the eastern shore and love all seafood but unfortunately haven't had clams steamed or fried in years. Love your new lamppost.

Happy Mother's Day! Good food, good fun, fun family..a perfect day! That's a sweet pic of Miss B. I don't coupon. I used to back in the day but found it very time consuming although I did like seeing the register click down! If that visit to Boston includes a Doc visit I'm sending a little prayer your way!

We always dug our own clams and then steamed them and smothered in butter. Yumm. But I think fried is my favorite. Miss B is so funny. Shes got that chick pretty close to her lips - I think she snuck a kiss in when the teacher wasn't looking.

Hubby did a great job on the lamppost!
Miss B is as cute as ever.
I've finally given up on clipping coupons(except the Clairol one for my hair coloring...lol!). I'd only think to use them after they were expired.
Happy belated Mother's Day :)
