It's Not Snow Funny Anymore

While We do not have any where near the snow everyone else does. I feel it was just a correction year as we are always the ones who get the most. Not to say we do not have plenty of snow.

I have no idea why I think this is so funny but I do.
Maybe it is picturing Fred's bare feet going faster and faster.

We are in for a couple of more storms this week. I will have plenty of time to read your emails and comments on the snow;).
Stay warm.

Freezing cold here, tomorrow the high might reach 9. We have about a foot on the ground, I thought it was only 9" or so, the rest of the week will be miserable too, more snow and ice coming. Nowhere near the problems others are having. Hoping the electric stays on, and the water doesn't freeze. Take care, we'll get through it all.

Oh, that mailbox is too funny!
It was -9 here this morning when I left for work. That's about 80* colder than I like it. At least we don't have the snow you do.
Stay warm and safe.
Hugs :)

We have just enough snow as normal, but the below zero temps are lasting much longer than usual. All in all--it's okay for someone who can stay inside all day. That would be me!!

We have more snow coming this week but worse than that is the bitter cold. We heat with wood and keeping it warm has been a challenge...not to mention how fast the wood burns making Jack's job of cutting, splitting, and keeping on top of it difficult. Makes me think that down sizing to a smaller home might be a good idea! Stay safe and warm and I'll keep praying for this winter to be over!

Here in the "sunny South," we are not accustomed to much winter weather. The inch, or more, of ice that we received yesterday, then the 1/2 inch - or more - of snow on top of it, have given us some serious road conditions, which leads to many closures. More winter weather is on the way, too, with some minus degrees in the forecast! Take care of yourself, and think of Fred Flintstone!:-)

*****thanks a lot...you can come over here to the coast and shovel anytime that you are missing the sight of HUGE amounts of snow!!!
can't find the house...the cars are buried...the paths from the front to the rear of the house are gone...now the show is about three to four feet on top of the house. the snow is up to my shoulders...i have fallen into it more times than i can count and fell backwards and couldn't get up. on one round of trying to clean i fell and when i was able to stand from the snow i fell again to the front and it took off my sweatpnats, long underwear and underwear...nothing like face down in the snow "mooning" the neighborhood in an upscale town!!!
stay warm!!!
