What Can You Get For 7.00..

I had 7.00 burning a hole in my pocket and this is what I purchased.
I have been reading Susan Branch's blog and
love her books. But the used book store manager in me
just can not buy a book new. So for 1.00 I am happy.

I have a thing for nice heavy glasses. these 4 were
new in the box and then I see that they are PGA golf glasses
so I think they may hit ebay and not my cupboards. 2.00 for set of 4

Naturalizer sandals that fit great they do not
look used, the bottoms have little to no wear. 2.00.
I also bought a frame for a picture I am trying to frame for 1.00
Or

You could buy a bottle of this wine from traders Joes
and have change in your pocket! 5.99 a bottle so so good.
We bought a case:)

Or for free you can make a lavender bottle
from your fresh lavender. I will tuck it in my linens.

Or you can go to the library and get a free read that will
make you laugh out loud.

This summer is rolling along way to fast.
We have been in the hot and muggies lately but it seems
to be drying up tonight. I was able to get lots of little chores done
with the cooler air in place.
****
I have been making unsweetened iced green tea thinking that it would be
better for me than any kind of sweet drink. But I did not know it has caffeine!  No wonder I have not been sleeping!
***
I have lots to show you from last weekend my friend and I are
super thrifters when we get together. So say tuned!
****
Be grateful for the doors of opportunity, and for the friends
who oil the hinges.

I'll be right over for some wine :)
It's been years (decades?) since I've made lavender bottles. The lavender I have isn't nice like the plants I had at the old house.
Hugs :)

My goodness you spent your seven dollars very well. Quite a few bargains for you on your shopping spree. I know you will enjoy your Naturalizer Sandals and for $2.00 you can't beat it.
I need to laugh out loud really bad so I must find this book. I will add it to my must reads.
I just saw your post before this and am thrilled David got a great report from his doctors in Boston.
God is Good!
Loved your beach pictures of Maine. I want to be there right now so bad. I think of Maine often and the beauty.
Our summer is rolling along pretty darn fast. I can't catch up with all the chores outside.
Looking forward to seeing what you super thrifters found on your trip.
Hope your having a wonderful week.
Love ya
Maggie

Wow! You know how to make $7 stretch. Glad to hear things are cooling off a bit for you. No such luck for us, but that is why we have A/C! LOL

Yippee! I'm glad that you left enough wine for me. Went to Trader Joes on Wed. To pick up more and could not buy a full case...but did get the last 7 bottles.
Can't wait to see your finds.

You sure have a nose for bargains. All that for $7.00. Wow. I love lavender but I never made a lavender bottle. I've put some in a little weaved basket closet hanger once but I lost my plants and it was the end of that...

I love this post and all of your purchases. Thank you for posting the Trader Joe's wine, I absolutely love it for summer and had kind of forgotten about it. Must make sure it is on my shopping list!!

Love your finds, especially the idea for the table. Will be anxious to see your finished project. BTW, my soon-to-be SIL is from Maine. I've never been there but your photos of the beach are beautiful!
