Ask And Ye Shall Receive...

I wish I had a million dollars!
Well it is rainy and chilly here just right for the fireplace. We have had wonderful weather
high 60's and just beautiful. We still have lots of snow on the ground but each day
it is less and less.

So just a couple of weeks ago my bread machine died. I had bought it
at a yard sale for 5.00 and was very sorry to see it go.
Today at Ta Da Dump low and behold a beautiful bread machine
with the instruction book inside. A little scrubbing and she is ready to go!
Now if I could just get that million dollars.

Along with the bread machine I found these Christmas plates all in their original wrap.

And these really cute books for Miss B.

We have a huge egg hunt for the kids, I buy plain bags at the dollar
store and have the kids paint, color, stickers and ribbons to make them
their own.

These are folders I though I would pass on to my daughter to use at
school. I think they are funny.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful encouragement I got
from the last post. You made me feel better about things for sure.

Friday night we were given free tickets to a local theater that has live
talent we saw a guy named Louden Wainwrite III folk singer and story teller
we really enjoyed him and it was nice to be out and about..
Have a great week everyone!

You can't control the length of your life, but you can can control its width and depth.
You can't control the contour of your face, but you can control its expression. You can't control the weather , but you can control the atmosphere of your mind. Why worry about things you can't control when you
can keep yourself busy controlling the things that depend on you.

I hope you don't have to hide your eggs in the snow. Remember how George Bailey always wished for a million dollars? That was my favorite movie. Have a great week Cathy

I just happen to adore that fireplace!!! I got myself a new bread machine--because I only need one loaf and I want to eat it when it is warm. AND--I usually end up throwing half the load out for the birds. Oh well......I'm old--I deserve it!!!

I don't need a million--$50K would do me good for the rest of my life.

We lucked out and the rain passed us by, was so nice to get out for some walks. Love your finds, I need to hit the thrifts, need baby things. I have to use his porta crib as a playpen and he needs that in a room for quiet sleep. Then I figure i will need outdoor toys and things for the pool, so need to start hitting the yard sales. I always pass the ones with kids things outside, won't do that again.

I think you're funny too. Lucky you to find the new (used) bread machine and if you get that million dollars I need a loan ;~).

I've a great bread machine and need to find a great multi-grain recipe to make since I've given up white bread and white rice.

Oh, love the crazy critters on the child's book.

I do hope one day your wish for the million dollars come true but until then enjoy your new bread maker.
I read your previous post and I too feel like I am fading away out here in blog land but lets not let that happen. I do enjoy reading your post and I don't find you at all boring.
Boring is what I feel like I have been and one reason my blogging is all but faded away.
Hope your warm weather keeps getting warmer. I think of you often.
Love
Maggie

It is so heartfelt and down to earth. I would hate to see you stop. Just keep up what you are doing . I love it. Can't wait to see all the changes your hubby is doing with furniture s well. All my best. Lorretta from NH

I'm glad that you found a replacement for your bread machine. Nothing like a fresh loaf of home made bread.

I hope that your snow will soon be gone too. Winter has wore his welcome here too.
Great finds at Da Dump.

Have a great week.
