A Really Cute Cupboard

We went to the airport to pick up a friend an hour from our house and this is what it
looks like. As you can see not much snow at all.

This was taken on the same day at then end of our road.
who would think there could be that much difference in just an hour away.
I just thought Dead end summed up how I am feeling about spring right now.
and hold on to your shovel we are in for a big storm Tue evening through the day
Wednesday....uggggggg

We got to see our little cutie girl though she is such a
ball of fun!

David was in the middle of waxing this cupboard. He made this
cupboard he does such a great job. And it is already sold!

Since it is still very cold and windy here I made a pot roast  for dinner.
and then I stewed the blackberries I had picked last summer that was still in the freezer
and made dessert. with some puff pastry and vanilla pudding so elegant and easy.
****
I am weeding out some very old patters I have had for a long time
I plan on posting them on ebay if I can figure it out.
Have a great week and help me pray for spring.

We still have lots of snow this year and we too are waiting for another big storm. I think that Spring will come when we stop complaining.

Nice girl all grown up and love that cupboard. It would be a great place to store wool.

Hugs,
JB

Love, love, love the cupboard!!! Just perfect to store my jugs of Diet Pepsi in, LOL. E-Bay is pretty simple and fun--go for it.

That is a cute cupboard. He's a talented guy. Miss B is looking adorable (as always).
I'm joining in on a prayer chain for spring with you. Wednesdays storm looks horrible. The storm- the-year they are calling it. Sigh... I just hope they close my office before I have to go to work

we have record cold for tonight, maybe a little snow at some point, but the daffs are blooming, and the river grass has greened some, there were mosquitos in the yard yesterday, and bunnies in the grass, hoping spring heads your way soon, your g. baby is adorable, and I love the cupboard, mmm dessert!

Mmmmmm, pot roast AND blackberries....two of my very favorites! With all that snow and expecting MORE, you NEED comfort food like that!

I'm praying here for spring weather for you! What a pretty little girl you have there. We actually have the wood stove running today. Just a little too nippy for us

So far, they are saying that storm is going to miss us here in Southern coastal Maine. Whew!
I hope for your sake it misses you too.
I want to eat at your house! I have zero motivation to do any decent cooking or baking lately and I especially want to taste your blackberry dessert.
Hang in there! Spring WiLL come.

There is even a chance of snow flurries/showers/etc. in our forecast for tomorrow! Old Man Winter just doesn't want to give up!

Miss B is precious!

Nice work on that cupboard. I need to strip and refinish a table here. Not too excited about that.:-)

Hi Cathy,
LOVE the cupboard... could use your talented husband around here to build one for me! Miss B is sure a cutie and growing like a weed!! I sure know how you feel about the mounds of snow... it's the same here! Today it's RAINING... and mixed with a few big globs of snow... I'm hoping it at least washes some of these 5 foot banks away!!
I'll be right over for some of that delicious cookin'!
Hang in there and let me know if you see any signs at all of Spring!!
Hugs!
