But I Can't help Myself

Last night our local theater had "It's A Wonderful Life"
for free. It was very different watching it on the big screen. Seeing
kids watch it for the first time was wonderful and at the end everyone in the theater
stood and clapped enough to make you weepy (ok I was)

As most of you know I manage a used books store for a non profit
in the next town.  One of my duties is doing the windows. I work with very capable mentally handicapped adults. So I thought(stole) of this idea,we all could work on it. I have never had
so many comments on a window in all of my 10 years. I get an email weekly
from my boss saying how much she loves to drive by it.

I sit here blogging in a pile of Christmas cards that need to be signed and
sent out. My brother is coming from Mississippi on Tuesday and my house could
use a good cleaning and still I blog. I just can't help myself.
A wonderful Christmas to all my blogger friends!

I am the same way! No cards signed or addressed, and a house that needs terrific cleaning! The "company" comes tomorrow! Yikes! What must I be thinking!:-) Merry Christmas!

I watched that movie last night too! I didn't clap but I always get teary eyed...love it! I think your window is truly inspired! It's very clever. I made it bigger so I could see if it was lights and was surprised to see paper chains..really cool! Really pretty! Have a great weekend before the big day!

Oh Cathy, what beautiful window decorations. No wonder you got plenty of great comments. Thanks so much for sharing. It a great idea. We used to make them for our tree and the school kids made them to decorate the school Christmas tree but they were always red and green.

My blogger friends mens a lot to me too and I try to keep in touch.

Merry Christmas.

Hugs,

The window is a wonderful winter wonderland. No wonder you received lots of comments, calls, etc. Special beautiful work of art, particularly from those who did it. THEY should be proud too. Merry Christmas.
