A Grand Weekend.

Church fair goodies, A sweet table cloth 2.00.

The snowflake Pyrex with a top,a snowflake spatula, and the
Currier and Ives pie plate were a total of 5.50 the snowman and ornament were 1.25
The Santa is a chalk ware vallancourt collectible and he is pretty cute 2.00.
After we were done at the church we went out to dinner. It was so nice, we chatted with
people who are spending their first winter in our area, good luck to them.

My friend who I went to the church fair with has been cleaning out
her parent's house and uncovered a few treasures.

This is a frost pattern

She also passed on a lot of wool during the clean out.

I have been hooking between all my fun. My sweet daughter and son in law
visited with our grand baby. We went to the parade, and fireworks.
she was so good. But oh is she independent she will not wear a hat or mittens.
I see flash backs of her mother.when her mother was a bit older than Miss B
she had to match her underwear with her shirt. I have no idea where it came from.
No frilly dresses for her either.

We have had snow, freezing rain, rain and lots of fog. So we stayed in
tonight and I made a pasta  bake. Just what we needed some comfort food.

Great finds at the church sale. I had to click on the picture to see the little red santa better. it almost looks like one I have but not quite.

It's drizzling rain this evening here and yesterday morning was freezing cold.

A nice pasta casserole sounds just perfect for a night like this.

Ok, hand over that tablecloth! Ok, you can keep it, but I can atleast be a bit jealous of it, right? Sweet find! So are all the other finds. I have alot of the currier and ives dishes but only use a few. The rest are packed away..hmmm..maybe it's time for a clean out! We've had rain today but not very cold...your pasta looks super yummy!

Your rug is looking great. Nice pattern. I have been knitting all week, no hooking. It sounds like Miss B is going to challenge her momma for awhile. Payback, right? Lol

A Villancourt Santa for $2. Wow! Great deal. I have that same plastic snowman ornament.
I'm glad you had fun with Miss Baby. Isn't it amazing how quickly the personality develops?

A grand weekend indeed! I love the treasures you found. But the best parts, I'm sure were the times spent with family and friends. Oh to have little children about at Christmas time!
