Hell Has Frozen Over.......

Hell has frozen over I am hooking again! I finished my chair pad, I put a nice wool back on it so now I need to make another one for the other bar stool. But first I am going to get started on a rug for Miss Baby.

I found this great book and look who the illustrator is! Tasha Tudor

I love her art work.

We had a trip to Boston today to the Dr he is still so happy with David's progress they took more tests so we should know more in 3 weeks.

I made the manicotti from my cookbook. It was so good it is a keeper for sure. Sorry no pictures we ate it before we thought to take pictures:)

David says he has a mystery day trip for me on Sunday and that I will love it hmmmm
I wonder what he has in mind?
It has been spring warm, the flowers are starting to come up through the ground oh happy day.
I hope spring has come to your corner of the world.

First, I'm glad to hear David's good report.
Secondly, that's one cool chairpad!
I like all of the colors and it fits your stool perfectly.
It was 58 here today, but it's just teasing us. I know it will snow again soon!

Spring has sprung here with flowers peeping up and I even have a few daffodils blooming! It was 70 today..very weird for March in Ohio. I'm just waiting for the snow to creep up on us! Have a fun Sunday surprise, can't wait to see what he has planned. I'm so happy that all his tests are coming out good and he's feeling good too. Love the chair pad also..good job!

Cathy, I love your hooked chair pad. Wow, I didn't even knew that you were working on a chair pad, maybe I missed a post. It's beautiful. Can't wait to see Miss Baby's rug design...
I just love Tasha Tudor illustrations too. She was quite talented and clever artist although a bit eccentric. I would have liked to meet her in person.

Such good news again with David's report. So far so good...

It sounds so romantic of David to have a surprise trip planned for you. I can't wait to hear about it.

Can you believe we are half way through March!

I love manicotti! Your chair pad looks great. Good news on the good report from the doc!
Terrific thrift shop finds in the older post, but for some reason I can't comment there!

Spring is springing up all over here. ;) I am so afraid Mother Nature is playing a dirty trick on us and will cover us in cold and snow again. I'm crossing my fingers she's gone for another year. :) I'm still waiting on my recipe books here. They were coming from NJ to here in NY. But....they took a side track to CALIFORNIA!!! Sheesh..sometimes I wonder about our post office. ;) The manicotti sounds yummy. Have fun on your surprise trip..sounds wonderful. :)

Love your chair pad and even better news is the great news from the doctor's visit.

Spring has sprung in Delaware too with temps several degrees above normal for this time of year. Today it will be 79 degrees.

Love the chairpad Cathy, you've made a splendid job of it.
The Wind in the Willows is one of my favourite childhood books, a classic indeed and what superb illustrations.
