Friends, Mice, and Leaves

The news is good, David is still doing very well and keeping the nurses entertained.
For myself, I am boring I go between work,Boston, and scrubbing every little corner of the house.
I head to Boston midweek and spend my days with David. Then come home on Sunday.
When I got home this week friends had raked the yard. Daughter and her husband brought in most of our firewood, and I had a plant from my sweet friend who babysits my cat sadie.
and speaking of Sadie she left a gift for my friend! There was a dead mouse stretched out where she would be sure to see it when she came in to care for her. Poor friend she had to deal with a dead mouse on top of everything else. and she is the one who left the beautiful plant for me. Now that's a friend! In have been keeping up with everyone reading your blogs.Thank you for all of your wonderful comments and prayers they are working for sure.  We are skyping Miss Baby now and then, she is at the point she can not sit still. So it is a bit like sykping a worm. It makes us a bit sea sick my daughter tries to follow her with the computer.
I hope you are all well and enjoying the last of fall.

What lovely news! So pleased that David is still doing well :o)
I'm sure that you are not boring Cathy, but a strong supportive, loving wife!
Your daughter, hubby and friends are doing a sterling job too, giving all important support on the home front. Even little Sadie is bringing gifts!
Miss Baby is a wriggle worm :o) I'm sure keeping you and David amused though.
Continued good wishes,
Rose H

I love Boston! I have a fall mum just like you. I love it. Jennifer gave it to me for my birthday. Have you seen the new Autumn Poinsetta?

Oh I'm glad to hear such good news about David. You sound a bit worn out...not a surprise with your hectic schedule. I can sympathize with your friend...do I know who you're talking about?...She seems like a stalwart figure to be able to deal with a mouse or two. What a dear! I'm off to take the Praxis II tomorrow...but at least it's a day off! I saw some red handled cookie cutters today and thought of you!
Hope all is going very well.
Prayers to you all!
Hugs!

It's great that Dave is doing well and still has his sense of humor. I laughed out loud over Sadie's little gift for her cat-sitter. Too funny! But I bet your friend wasn't laughing.

So glad things are going well!! It keeps you hopping between hospital and home but I bet you are glad to get to both! How fun to have Miss Baby to divert your attentions even if it makes you a bit seasick!!

Great news that David is doing well and so happy to hear you have great neighbor's who give a helping hand with raking leaves and doing what they can to ease the stress in your life.

And I think mice are cute little creatures but don't want them in my house ~ so perhaps sometimes a 'dead' mouse is a 'good' mouse.

Cathy, I'm so glad that things are going well with David and that prayers are being answered.

It's good that you keep busy as it will make time go faster. I'm sorry for lagging behind in my comments, this week has been even busier than usual for me.

How fun to be able to still stay in touch with Skype with a wiggly Miss Baby.

Hugs and Prayers, Julia
