The Beach

Happy Spring everyone! We chose to go to the beach today to worship the sun and take a wonderful walk. This is a Maine beach. My husband and I grew up in a couple of towns over. When we were teens we could go to this beach and make a Bonn fire which we did with large groups of friends. Such fun memories.
This boardwalk takes you over to the beach.
Can't you just smell the salt air?
The water was so clear and COLD.
And of course let's not forget the moon. I hope you had a chance to see it. It lit up our whole house after the lights were out. We still have a lot of snow so the light just bounced off the snow.

I got to babysit all by myself on St Paddy's day. Oh we had so much fun.
I spent most of the weekend cleaning out closets, washing floors, etc. The house looks and feels so much better and I could still clean out more.
They are predicting more snow for tomorrow. Not much then it switches to rain. I am praying for the snow to go. We host Easter and have about 24 people here. It is no fun to have an egg hunt in the snow and we usually have a family soft ball game the kids especially love that.
Did you all had a chance to celebrate spring?

Sounds like such a wonderful day...The moon was fantastic last night, wasn't it? Would have loved to see it from the beach in Ocean City.

Here's hoping your snow melts and your have a nice green Easter.

It would be great to welcome spring at the beach. I bet it was cold though. We had lots of sunshine today but the wind had a bite to it.

Is the water colder anywhere other than Maine. Yikes! Even in the summer the water is chilly. Beautiful photos of the beach.

Love your moon photo! And you are so lucky to live near a beach!
Isn't it a good feeling to get some "cleaning" done? I can't wait to open the windows and let the air purify the house! Tried it the other day and almost froze my behind....... so I guess I better wait a bit longer! LOL

What a gorgeous day we had today but I think that it was too cold for the beach yet. Nice pictures. Yes I saw the huge moon and it was a sight to see.

Happy Spring.. JB

Thanks for sharing the beach photos -- it looks like a wonderful place to spend the day. Our beach is still under snow and the lake is still full of ice....but it will be summer again soon... :-D

Oh...Maine beaches!! I love the ocean. And yes the water is very cold up here in New England. I usually wait for days over 90 degrees to actually go in swimming! Great moon photo!

Love just being able to look at your Maine beach pics! Love the clean, clear water. The only lake we have access to is a run off and has nothing but muddy water. I love seeing CLEAN water!
How fun to babysit...you need pictures of that sweet baby!!
We are supposed to get more snow this week...but it won't last long. We're spoiled by having nice weather this weekend...I'll take anything I can get!
