Happy Valentines Day! Here are a few of my antique cards that my mom gave me before she passed away. I have them under glass on a coffee table.
This weekend we got to babysit my Grand..........Dog :) This is Baily and he is a pound puppy and one great dog. He has food allergies so he has home made food and his gramme made him some goooood foood. But boy was the cat mad he was here.
So my new Easter idea???? some eggs will contain a note that you can pick a prize from the pocket. How cute is this apron? It has all little pockets from all different materials. I will fill it with little gifts that wouldn't fit in an egg cute or creepy???
I got another award so exciting, from kim. And she gave my daughter one also. I think it is her first!thrifty finds on fairview ave. So 7 things you don't know about me.1.My husband and I have the same amount of siblings. He has 2 brothers and 1 sister and I have 2 sisters and 1 brother.
2. I am the oldest of my siblings.
3. This is the 3rd house we have owned, but the first one that we built.
4.I love blogging but have a hard time with posting most times. (I do not know what I am doing : )
5. I was a stay at home mom for several years to be with my daughter and I loved it!
6. I have a craft room that if you opened the closet door you would think you were at Dorr Mill Wool. My husband is always saying "Dorr Mill called and wanted to know if you had any blue you could sell them".
7. I really like my job.
Now I am suppose to pass this on and since I could never choose from all of you wonderful bloggers. I will leave it at that.
Have a wonderful Valentines Day!

Gosh,
So many fun things in your post tonight! I love the apron idea for the Easter Egg hunt. You brought back so many memories of hunts gone by that I did for my kids! We used to hide toys in the eggs too! Your husband is funny with the Dorr Mill Store comments!! Congrats on the award!! Bailey is sweet. He looks shy.
Have a good evening!

Such beautiful vintage cards!
Your cards are treasures and I'm sure bring wonderful memories too. They certainly used to put so much quality into those little things...speaking of which you picture is cute with it's checkerboard trim AND made ine the USA! Great! You are right, I think the frame would be cute painted black. When we keep our grand dog, our dogs aren't happy either...such is life! He's lucky you spoil him with homemade food, right?
Happy Valentines Day Cathy!

I love the pocket idea. My mother hides plastic eggs all over the garden with money in them, that's fun too! Miss you, love, Kathy
