Did You Say Donut???

This is the tree in my header. With what else but snow. I was sick for a couple of days. just general aching and bone cold. None of the other crap that goes with being sick. So I am calling it my winter malaise.  Not sure why this winter is getting to me, I have seen worse and I am a tough New Englander. Have I come to the point that I squeeze myself into a tiny camper trailer and head for warmer weather for the winter? If you asked my husband he passed that point about 5 years ago.
I have been eating way to much sugar. I can hear a donut being made a mile away. So I am trying to eat more fruit, drink more water, and generally eat more healthy. I wonder if it will help?
Today I got to see my daughter and that sweet baby. She had a snuggle and snooze day just right for a day with grammie! What a way to lift your spirits! she is growing like a little weed.
Tonight a friend and I went to see The King's Speech. What a wonderful movie go if you can!
No trifting, No dump, No fun
I hope you are all warm and cozy. For those of you in good weather god bless and send it this way.

Oh this winter is wearing on me too! I'm longing to see my trees decked out like yours in the header...all blossoms! But I understand warmer weather is on it's way to us by the weekend. Now, I just have to get through the next day to start to feel it..your grandkiddo is so cute. That's the stage that you just want to sit and cuddle and smell their cute baby smell! You say you had no fun, but I think being Grandma was your fun! Carbs are calling me too, but I find that all year, not just winter unfortunately!

She is getting cuter by the minute Grammy!! I think the diet is probably the culprit but the carbs and sugar are winning out here a little too! Those strawberries look awfully darn good!
I want to see that movie. It sounds really good.
I hope you are feeling better and back to the dump in no time! ( back to the dump sounds a little strange but we know it's a good thing!)

Sorry, just cold and snow here. But on a positive note, spring is only a few weeks away! And sometimes, I think a cramped camper would ultimately be better than this freezer!
Your grandbaby is adorable.

The tree looks beautiful in either season. Your 'little weed' is a beauty :o) Who cares about the weather when you have a little darling like that?

I get that winter malaise too... my dh runs and hides! lol! Fresh fruit and better nutrition certainly does help... even a walk in the outdoors on a day with some sunlight. We've had enough snow here in Jersey, you'd think it was New England by looking out the window! lol! Gorgeous little baby! So peaceful!

I get that way too and this winter seems worse than previous ones ~ keep smiling ~ spring is on the way ;-)

Could your granddaughter get any cuter!!! What a ball you must have visiting her. How happy you and your husband must be to have that wonderful bundle of love in your lives. Good luck with the fruit and eating more healthy. Boy is it hard!!

What a sweet little bundle that little one is! I went to see the Kings Speech too and loved it. I don't go to the movies very often, so that one was a real treat. Stay warm dear friend!!

We are supposed to warm in to the 30's for a few days. It will seem like a heat wave....sigh!

Ahh come on and try that RV idea. We live in ours fulltime ( no house anywhere)..avoiding all the weather that you are having....I have wool stashed in all the cubby holes and space to hook where ever I am!!! Life is good with only the stuff that really matters.
Get well and hug the baby

Love that baby! Glad you she got to spend the day with you. Our winter has been long too; but not with beautiful white snow; lots of rain. We will be going to see our granddaughter next week!
