Then I must also be a fascinating woman, lol. Interesting piece of wool, that first one. Looks like it was married with red, blue and don't know what else as I only see the corner turned. Lucky win.

Well, aren't you the lucky one??! You won a great gift certificate (?) at one of your hook-in's not too long ago if I remember correctly. That hit and miss rug is a beauty! A pedicure is one of my guilty pleasures. I had never had one until my MIL took me for one as a birthday gift when we visited in Scottsdale and I've been hooked ever since. Rainy and gloomy here again. We are supposed to get into the 60's today, but with the storms the "feel-like" temp will only be in the 40's. The fuel company refilled the propane tanks again this morning. I'm not happy having yet another fuel bill but I'm grateful for the heat.
I must fall high on the list of remarkable and fascinating women because my house is far from immaculate! This all looks fun!
We thought we were done with fires in the woodstove but Sunday was in the 40s and with the wind the wind chill was in the 20s. My plan to pull weeds was thwarted and to take the chill out of the air I fired up the woodstove.
Today was in the 70s so managed to get some weeds out after other plans for the day had precedence. Tomorrow I have the whole day clear for gardening.
You had a very nice weekend. That is such a cute picture of Sweet B getting the pedicure. Your "Hook-In" sounds like a lot of fun. Glad you enjoyed it. I hope you have a good week. See you again soon!

Yard and house work can wait that’s for sure when there are these other fun events, and your mother was so right. A friend has a sign in her home that I have never forgotten, it read: Housework can make you ugly…so why take any chances?
I didn't retire to clean house...that's my mantra. I agree with your Mom. Working on purging for new carpeting...it's frightening. I love that hit or miss. Has a quilty vibe with all those half square triangles. Hook ins are always fun and that looks like it was. I think you should keep treating yourself to pedis I think I will too as sandal season is approaching. Have a good week!

LOL! My mom did not believe in housework.
I have only had one pedicure but I may just have to treat myself this summer. I'm worth it, right?
