Happy Beltane

Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit for good luck the whole month!

The Gardens and yard are coming to life.

And while spring is springing the mountains still have snow.

That is what I keep telling myself as I get our yard and house into shape for the summer.

Beltane, it the beginning of summer for the celts.
It is celebrated in many ways with fire and maypoles, but my favorite is through creativity. I need to get back to my rug hooking and painting.
The spring chores have taken up most of my time.
Happy Beltane!!!

It is so easy to get busy with "chores" that it is easy to let the things we enjoy the most get put on the back burner!
Happy Beltane! Happy May Day!

I've never heard of that. Hooray for Spring and I'm with you on creativity!

Yay on those forward steps. I suppose my creativity has surfaced in yard and garden, but I yearn to get back to other things.

I like the saying (forward is forward) that you shared here and have copied it down for myself to remember.

I need to saw more wisteria vine since the trash was removed on Wednesday. Did cut grass and picked up pinecones beforehand but my battery loses power more quickly that I'm older.

Yes, let's get creative and make things!

I said "rabbit, rabbit, rabbit" on the 1st hoping for good luck...all I've gotten so far is even more rabbits in my yard eating whatever foliage is brave enough to peek through the soil. Here I was thinking it was Nod's cold that was discouraging them from coming up but it's the rabbits. In any event, Happy Beltane.

That's a fine motto to remember and I love the graphic, too!

There's so much to do in Spring, getting ready for the nice weather.
That's a pretty daffodil.

Add me to the list of those unfamiliar with the term, Beltane, but now I know its meaning, thanks.
