We got a little rain yesterday not nearly enough but it filled my rain barrel and that is something.
Husband made me a coffee station.
It was all lovely and cozy this cool morning. Now what to do with all that counter space?
A grocery store here gave me a coupon 6.00 off 30.00 of meat. Not one to let 20 percent off meat go to waste. I shopped a few of the mark downs and got 50.00 worth of meat for 39.00
.
I bagged it up into portions we would use, just the two of us. 15 bags so for a total of 2.60 a meal
And yesterday I felt like I needed some laughter. I joined Donna's rug hooking group. Such a fun group! Then Donna and her husband treated me to dinner and ice cream. They wanted me to stay but I had a dentist appointment this morning. So I made the 2hr trek home.

My dentist thinks I need a night guard. I have a bad gag reflex not sure I can tolerate one. Has anyone tried the sport mouth guard instead of the pricy night guard?
I love my dentist he gets my crazy quirks when it comes to teeth ugg. But it is very expensive.

Your coffee station is cute and very useful. Fall is definitely in the air. It was 46 this morning when I went to work. So glad we can keep the windows open now. Dont get me started on teeth. I have the worst teeth ever, and go every 4 months. UGH Janice

The coffee station is great! It's amazing how much space coffee accoutrements can take up, yeah? Great score on the meat. Cooking for one, I'm always dividing up and repackaging meat into smaller portions. I'm not sure exactly what the difference between a "night" guard and a "sport" guard?? I have a horrible gag reflex - sometimes just flossing my teeth or taking meds causes me issues. I am not sure it's the same thing, but I was prescribed an "oral appliance" for at night and I absolutely hated it. It cost a fortune, constantly needed adjusting, took a long time to insert (properly), etc. Then when I had to have my bridge redone and implants done for 2 teeth this past year, I would have had to have it redone (to the tune to a couple of thousand dollars). Nope...not doing it. Like I said, I'm not sure it's the same thing...but there ya go...my thoughts LOL.
Your dentist sounds perfect! I LOVE that coffee station. Hubby done goooood! Dinner out with ice cream, also good.

First, I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing family members as we age is so sad. I still can't believe my brother has been gone 4yrs already. Your coffee station is so adorable and very handy with lots of storage. The weather here has been cool also and I'm ready for Fall. I will take down all my summer decor this weekend and put up the Fall decorations. Have a good rest of the week Cathy.
I’m not sure what kind of night guard you are considering. I grind my teeth so my dentist suggested a night guard…it took months for me to get accustomed to but I’ve had it for years…it cost me $500…I’m guessing I will have it a lot longer. I had worn away some lower teeth…had them bonded and now my smile is back where it should be. I love your coffee station, what a lovely thing to have! And great deal on your meat purchase, well done!
