Everything is becoming so green and wonderful!
I got a couple of walks in but because of the rain that was it.
I had a 100.00 gift certificate for a local plant nursery.
It didn't go far but I got some nice plants to put in my shade garden.
This is a stone painted like a piece of pie.
The little church here in town had their first sale of the season.
I didn't find much but this basket to stand my rugs up in. And for 2.00 a steal.
Lady liberty is hung but she will move to the porch when I get a chance to give it a good clean.
Progress on my rug. I am stumped on how to hook all the grass.
I have a rug hooking class on Wed I will see what Pam says.
My Sweet B had a co-op band concert today.
18 different small middle schools came together to play as one.
What wonderful music they played.
We went to an opening of a coffee shop just a few miles from us.
It was raining and we needed the break so out we went. The coffee was good the breakfast sandwich was good. But the pastries not so much. So, I made some blueberry scones for my husband today.

That first photo of your road looks positively magical!! Like something out of a fairy dream. Love your new rug basket...a steal indeed...and your rug is looking great! You did such an amazing job on the birds in particular I think. Ahh, Miss B - she gets prettier every day. I assume she is turning many a fella's head. And, yes, when it comes to baked goods in particular, homemade is always best. I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day and are spoiled to pieces.
Happy Mother's Day weekend to you! The music looks great, your rug is lovely and how wonderful that you were able to buy some things with that gift certificate!
Your current rug is way too detailed for me, but it looks great.
I, too, have a $100 gift card to a local nursery and it never goes very far.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Happy mother's day!
That pie stone is interesting. Your new rug is fabulous beyond words -- I can't wait to see it finished. Happy Mother's Day.
Happy Mother's Day to you!
I think we got over 6 inches total for the week. There were 2.5 in the gauge when we returned from a visit to a niece in Mass yesterday.
What an interesting stone in the shape of a pie. I like the bird rug too. It's nice to have found a good coffee shop in town. Your blueberry scones look Yummy. I was first introduced to scones from a church friend. She made them with tea. I instantly enjoyed them, and they seem less sweet than cakes and cookies. The lady liberty wall hanging is delightful.
Have a good May week.

Happy late Mother's Day Cathy! You always find the best stuff and that basket will be great for rugs. I love your patriotic rug! Enjoy your hooking class and have a good week. I'm in Chicago visiting my sister but will try and post this week. Take care!
Hope you had a marvelous Mother's Day! I cannot believe you live in a saltbox. That would be my dream house. Love your Lady Liberty rug. Another great find in that basket too. Janice
The wicker basket for $2 was a steal. The rock painted like a piece of blueberry pie made me chuckle :)
Great find with the basket, and the rugs will be perfect in it. I love the rug you are working on, beautiful design and your color choices really set it off. It is hard to do grass without losing any of the design. The hat you did up, is so fun.
i love blueberry scones, blueberry anything is my favorite. you did steal that basket for 2 buck-a-roos!!!
