Snow In May??

Yesterday we drove 2 hours to Maine for the burial of an amazing lady and the mother of a very good friend. This is what her lovely home looks out on the beautiful ocean. She had a good long life.

Today we went to our dump (aka transfer station) and found several rolls of Christmas paper. I grabbed one and left the rest.

We are in for a crazy storm starting tomorrow morning.
A nor'easter which will bring driving rain and high winds with record breaking cold.
and we are on the edge of getting snow. uggg!
So, I have covered my just planted plants and prayed.
We have been so cold and windy we have had the fireplace going every night.

I want to thank you for such wonderful comments on my porch I do love it. Now I just need porch sitting weather.
I am off for a bit of fun with my sweet grand on Friday.
have a great week!

If it is any consolation to you, it is 20* cooler here than it should be. Only in the 50's with rain and wind and will be so again tomorrow. Thankfully no snow predicted tho.

Snow this late in the season is not fun. I hope you don't get much and that your plants survive.

Ugh on the possibility of snow. We have had rain for a couple days now and it has been cold. Condolences to the family. I have said it before and I'll say it again...you always find good stuff. Janice

That's a wonderful view.
Snow, yuck! It's been cold and rainy here today, but at least it's not snowing!

Your weather is so much worse than ours…and ours is not very pleasant. Thankfully no snow or freezing temps in our forecast.
You haven’t posted any dump finds in a long time. Are you avoiding it since you are purging?
I am still purging. Currently going through a couple folders of articles from when my older son wrestled in high school. He’ll be getting some of them soon 🤣🤣🤣

I think your dump is so interesting.
Sorry about the loss of your friend.

Oh my hoping you don't get cold enough for snow-that happened here in Missouri one of the first years we moved down here from Illinois. It killed a lot of buds on trees back then. Looks like we could be getting lots of rain over the long weekend.
Enjoy the rest of your week and into the long weekend
Hugs Kathy

Crazy weather for May! I saw this cartoon that said the reason it's called May is because it MAY rain, and it MAY snow. I hope the storm isn't too severe.

Raining and cold here this morning south of you. No warmth in sight on the forecast either.

Our weather is nasty too and has been for some time, several mornings the temps have dipped to freezing and that's the "actual" temp, not the "feel-like" temp. The rain has finally stopped, but it remains cloudy, cold, and dreary with such awful wind. It seems most Memorial Days here are nasty - several have seen snow. Fingers crossed not this year - for us and for you...and also that your plants pull through unscathed. Enjoy your Miss B time!

What a beautiful view. URG snow? Not fun! I hope your prayers are answered. Have fun with your sweet Miss B. I am sure it will be a good time.

Sorry to read about the friend's passing and I can understand having also lost a friend recently, sadly, it's become a pattern in recent weeks. We are having an all day rain event, but no snow, perhaps there was some in the White Mountains where we spent last weekend. Enjoy the time with your granddaughter as we all know you will.

This is the oddest, wettest spring I can remember. I hope you stay safe in the storm. I know your friend was glad to have your support at the memorial.
