How Do You Know when You are Old?

I worked 11 and half hours today and I was so excited to be home before wheel of fortune was over. That is how you know you have finally crossed over into old :(

My Store hosted business after hours for the local chamber so I 
spruced up the store a bit.

I made a string of dragon flies out of recycled book pages..


and a string of hearts, ok many strings of both and filled the store window with them when someone comes in the door they twirl and move. I just love them. I got a few compliments, that always makes me feel better.

I came home to a couple gifts in the mail, ok I bought them for myself...

but it was still very exciting to get nicely wrapped gifts.

This is a lovely Lapis bracelet

And this is a Red aventurine.

It comes with a explanation of the energy that each bracelet 
holds. They are saged before being sent so only the good energy comes through. 
It is only Tuesday and I have to work over time again tomorrow I am counting on that good energy coming through.

Downton Abbey was interesting this week they are setting up for a lot of things to happen this season.

    I haven't watched that show in years, I tend to tape things and watch them while I work on things. Beautiful bracelets and always nice to give ourselves a treat once in awhile.

    Nice bracelets. I hope they bring you lots of energy...

    I'm not much a jewellery kind of person anymore as I work mostly at the farm and i would probably loose them in the hay... but my daughter always buys me nice nickel free pearl and stone earrings and necklaces and beautiful pendants. I always think someday when I retire, I'll wear them everyday...

    I love your window hearts and dragons. Yes a tutorial on how to make them would be nice.

    I still haven't watched a single episode of Downton Abbey yet. There always seems to be something calling me to do something else.

    I'm a Downton Abbey fan too and can't wait to see what happens next. I wish there would be more episodes before the season ends eventually and we have to wait another year. Pretty bracelets!

    I am a Downton Abbey addict and even watched the past week's show again--an hour or so before the new episode comes on. I have all 4 seasons on DVD and watch them over and over.

    Let me know if your energy bracelets help. I was into the phase of wearing a copper bracelet for arthritis. Didn't help a bit, LOL

    Morning Cathy, i adore the string of hearts and dragonflies, great idea. We always watch Wheel Of Fortune every night after supper,old habits. Those are beautiful bracelets, very pretty. Blessings Francine.
