I missed the meteor shower as it was quite late and I worked a lot that week. Too tired! I think Miss B is so cute and getting so big! Enjoy every moment with her! I hope you're feeling better in spirit and I know with all that's happened in our country lately that it's hard to do sometimes. To many questions.
I am glad you have such nice things to go do this month. I have had to really limit myself to the news. I was listening to a guy and he asked this question, " How is it at your house." I told my husband what that guy said, and now when I am going on about what is happening in the world. He will just look at me and ask, ' How is it going on at your house?" It makes me stop and look at all of the wonderful gifts I have been given at my house and pulls my mind back to those things I am responsible for and pray, pray, pray for those poor people. I do hope you have the best weekend. Sorry I wrote a book. They are not yet blooming though.

With all that is happening lately, we are in need of a miracle to set our hearts at peace. I'm praying for peace in the world and peace in our hearts. I hate turning on the news, even locally there are deaths and murders daily.
I usually buy a few plants each year and just sitting on the porch and looking out on the yard can bring me a bit of peace. My Mom always used Cushman dyes I think they still make those. I have done allot of hand dyeing in the past I loved using natural dye materials-always a surprise in the dye pot.
Sounds like you will be pretty busy this summer, sometimes that is a good thing. Keeping busy, spending time (lots of time) in nature and digging in the dirt, and treasuring time with Miss B is the best medicine. I have been cutting back each year with my plants. It is too much...I can't keep up with the watering or the fall/spring clean-ups. Those are the worst on my back. It was also very difficult to keep the annuals alive when I used to go to the lake, so I really cut back after we got the lake house. But this year I haven't been there, so part of me wishes I had gotten more at least this year. But, clean up from the fall is not yet done...and the weeds are outpacing me at every turn. And the wind has been absolutely horrendous. Today we had 50+ mph gusts....It blew my old (full size) ladder several feet where it broke on the bricks...and took out several plants with it. Wind unnerves me and sets me on edge more than it should so today was especially bad. Take care and know you are not alone. ~Robin~TheCrankyCrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16314851714923955216noreply@blogger.com
